Customs man Henri Rousseau
part-time gave painting a go
Great detail was his particular thing
with child-like eyes he did bring

Once I had a part-time lover,
Never again!
For when he did not love
It was hate
A love-hate man
Never again,
Never never
again.

Victor Pasmore ursued art part-time
it suited circumstance just fine
From the figurative to the abstract
his sensitive line are an actual fact

Have you seen the part time plumber?
He plumbs in winter and a pop-star in summer
During a plumbing job, he will thrust out his spanner
Singing into it “Copacabana”

No..., please don't call me lazy.
Good pay; don't think I'm crazy.
My first part-time job in life.
Simply to drop neighbour's wife.

doubtful
hopeful
wistful
willful
there lives a doubtful, hopeful darkness
in her wistful, willful mind of gloominess.

Life
life is it the great illusion,
death the change, who waits for all,
coming going, loving, fusion,
part time life, encounters gall,
spirit leaves and death enthralls?

few step into their world
most just orbit
loners are never lonely
social
part-time sociopaths
must mix and mingle
but loners
they never have to find themselves
for they are not lost
while the many
are too many

A part-time poet.
Sounds like an oxymoron-
Poets work full time.
Capturing life in their minds-
Freeing it with chosen words.

Wed young- three babes I had by twenty-four.
Part-time, earned a B/A in English, and
my poetry and paintings seemed to soar.
More joys when five grandchildren grew, expand
to five dear great-grandbabies, I adore.

So glad, so happy, enthralled to have a job! Chortling as I choke back words. The verse part of my garden absurdly lacking. But so thrilled, tickled, absolutely agog.
bouquet of part-time
bloomed into three full days -
my garden suffers

as love lights in flight
part-time couples go seeking
shelter in the rain
my cherry armor
don't you worry 'bout a thing
Jesus knows it all
inner visions break ~
out like golden Misstra sun
over joys and tears
for once in my life
a sky of ribbons appears ~
love found higher ground

You're a rose
beautiful in every sense
and yet so much more
A part time doctor
part time cook
even a father
Raising three boys
you are strong
refusing to hide your thorns
Believing you can do the impossible
even stop time
able to see through me
Your eyes could search my soul
seeing truth
detecting lies

I do not know?
My heart's renderings are shaded
in poetic images and creativity
yet, my mind languishes in the scrub of sad dirges
thus...I am a part-time poet
for the bell tolls not for my words
from thought in celebration
rather it tolls for graffiti I place before the public
I have called poetry

Bonarda?Twenty eight ripples
counted , flow? actually,
rain drops spare spaces.
?Newcastle darkened by windows,
shut,? a longing for short rope.
?Growing window boxes fell?,
by taxis and the lost echoes?
Part time clocks between dead towers?Tick,
through the eroded scraggy day?
Arrows flew blistered stray crows

These are prostitutes or obedient opportunists.
Half of the world’s so called ‘scientists,’
who work for the military, part-time at least,
and many more for profits within industries,
that pollute, poison, and destroy the environment irreversibly.
These are not scientists.
These are prostitutes or obedient opportunists.

Is when mission impossible takes place
Is when control of the mind is a effort
Is when sharpening of the pencil is a chore
Is where there is a pause
Is where there is to be continued
Is where there is a yield sign
Is when creativity becomes a sleeping duck
Is when the taste buds becomes numb
Is when the eyes becomes unfocused

First I thought I was a writer,
But that took way too much time and effort as a fighter.
As a fighter for time both day and night,
All of those words I needed were just out of sight.
As a poet I have now become,
I will be known as a short writer's drum.
Drumming out words of joy,
And having all kinds of fun with my new toy.

Paula was a college sophomore;
She was a baller!
And part-time to pay for college she was a roof installer;
She was quite athletic ;
Also this pretty prophetic;
She even had a high mind, fluential and academic;
So she was awesome and poetic;
So is Paula,
The college sophomore;

They are what they've learned,
and they've learned so much
from their pastors and teachers
when mom wasn't there,
and dad was defining himself.
And some are loved part time,
by aunts and uncles distant and suspect,
from the back of a hand
to the stroke of a cheek,
confusion curdling self-respect.
They are what they're used to,
it stems from regard or neglect.

Prophetess
Miracle Man
4/20/2024
My wife said, Honey, hearing aids will change your life,
She was right, they did. Now I’m 5 grand poorer and have to take a part time job, and still can’t hear!. She said it’s only temporary. “cheer up, it could be worse”. I cheered up, and again, things got worse! I lost the part time job. Does this make her a prophetess???

Can you love this part time man?
Only seeing me when you can,
Stealing moments in the night,
Knowing what we are doing is not right.
Can you love this part time man?
Who loves you as no one else can,
Taking love on the run,
Two souls love as one.
Can you love this part time man?
No one loves better than we can,
Out time together is never long,
What feels so good seems so wrong.

Twirly, swirly, all around
dancing is fun,
that’s what I have found!
Up, down, touch the ground
dancing makes me giggle,
Oh! How I love the sound.
Dancing frees the soul
don’t hold back,
just let it all go!
Take a stroll
let your feet dance,
and lose control.
Dance and have a good time
having fun
doesn’t cost a dime!
Part-time or full-time
dancing is fun,
all the time!
