A Girl of My Choice
A girl of my choice
Is all I am looking for
But I can’t find one
Like the endangered pandas
In this beautiful big world...

Burn
Diamond shimmers
The wind blows the leaves home
They arrive and burn
Pandas refuse mates
They are stupid, so they die
Burn all the beaches...

On Polar Bear hide
Let the exhibit continue

Pandas
Panda bears are not real, that's total nonsense
They're manufactured in an obscure Chinese province
Peebs work into the night
Making these Christmas delights
But only give them their naughty parts with the boss' consent...

Giant Pandas
Giant pandas live in China.
They can swim and climb trees, too.
They're black and white and furry
And they love to eat bamboo!
Bonus activity: Print out a giant panda coloring sheet for each child (there are a few
to choose from on animalstown.com) and have him or her color it....

The Big Bang
Whales and snails
Bees and fleas
Apples and eagles
All from the Big Bang
Planets shine and align
Bananas and cheetahs
Seashore and dinosaurs
All from the Big Bang
Peaches and cheeses
Asparagus and cactus
Human eye and butterflies
All from the Big Bang
Newborns and acorns
Pandas and pooches
Goose and spruce
All from the Big Bang
Really?...

Where are the Pandas
Where are they? I asked him at the door.
My voice cracked, was a bit of a whisper.
I had never seen pandas in bamboos before.
Look up, said the farmer, a tiny mister.
There were three of them, and they were sweet.
What do they eat? I asked. What do they eat?
Why do you think they are up in the bamboo? He asked me.
I had no idea, but I sure wanted to see…....

At the Announcement of a Holiday
Children howl, like wolves and dogs,
Dumping rules, like dirt-dust logs;
The teacher's cane rarely works,
The principal flares cause smirks!
Workers stand, pandas-perplexed,
Cattle crazing next, stand vexed;
Students some; Angels! Correct,
Others: Devils! See them wrecked!
Principal-tiger hurried,
Like sheep, each teacher worried;
Each angst of future buried,
Students leap like light-bodied!
27 October 2021...

Bluebell-Judicious Being
A shade of Turquoise,
Vibrant and lengthy,
Smooth like blueberries,
Thick like quilt,
Wrapped in ribbon,
Neatly and tight.
Eyes like pandas,
Big and bold,
Lashes like spiders,
Most are new,
Some are old,
Like my big red luscious lips (or so I am told).
My big frame and stature,
Is not a match for you,
My retro fashion sense,
Vintage like me,
I'm happy with just flowers,
Gerberas red, pink, yellow and green....

Follow Me
If you believe there is nothing new to see
and this world holds no more surprises for you.
Then, my friend, strap yourself in and follow me
as we track pandas through forests of bamboo
and check out blue whales, the giants of the sea.
Earth's lakes range in colors from pink to sky-blue,
and The Grand Canyon's awesome, I guarantee.
From its snow-capped mountains to its vast oceans,
Earth is a planet that evokes emotions....

Bear
She says I am a bear today
- hairs bristle, paws twitch.
I could be a good bear,
but apparently I’m unbearable.
I used to be loved by park rangers
and children.
I danced in the circus,
I composed love-poetry for pandas,
but today the mask is slipping.
I tell her: I am a walrus,
look at my moon-cow eyes -
only a walrus can gawk like that,
but she’s just not buying
the whole walrus thing.
Later like a good bear
I hold out my dish as she says:
dinner is ready....

An Unexpected Visitor
last night i had the strangest dream
i dreamt i was all manky
i had greasy hair and smelly feet
and bogies in my hanky
my ass was brown and pooey
my ears full of yellow stuff
my belly button stank cus
of all the fuzzy fluff
my eyes were black like pandas
my pants were brown and fishy
my armpits smelled like rotten eggs
and my farts were wet and squishy
i dreamed you called unexpectedly
you surprised me at the door
you looked aghast and took one whiff
and fainted on the floor...
