Nature the Destroyer
Raging tornadoes
devastate the entire land
destroying cities

Raging huricanes
plundering oceans and land
natures agony

Tsunami monster
Indian Ocean graveyard
deadly disaster

For My Baby
You're here for me when no one else could be
You loved me even when I was wrong
You're mine till the bitter end
Everyone wants you but you chose me instead
I'll love you no matter what
You're my baby and they can't that away

For my baby Ed Owens. . . I love you baby!...

freeway traffic
many honking horns
Geese yaking

the busy bee
drilling a hole in
my window sill

sleeping with one
ear tuned to a babes voice
the new mother

a hushed quiet
the ball trails to the net
and finds it's mark

a bar raises as
another record falls

Afraid
I dislike it when you don't talk to me.
When you say you never really loved me.
Why do you don't like me so?
no wonder my self-esteem is low.
But what I'm really afraid of is to say that I love you......

This poem goes out to Justin Younker, Sam Kreps, And Ed Owens........ THANK YOU!...

Who Am I?
Who am I?
Is this really me?
No, This isn't me!
This isn't me!
I look in the mirror, but it isn't me I see
Can it possibly be?
I never intended all this pain. . .
All of this suffering. . .
I feel alone, like No one else can save me
Friendship never lasts long for me.
No one ever stays to help.

A Flower's Color
With wind blowing definition, Captured in a photo.
A flower and the color is as ravishing as the sensation of Mrs. Owens in her essence

The sequence of it growth
The nature in its own habitat!

The flower’s own essence is essential to take note, because only in that would you
appreciate
It in fullness
Size, magnitude, color
Essence
Essence
Essence!...

Racism and Hitler
If you are racist, unpleasant and nasty,
you're thought of like Hitler and just like a Nazi,
cus they believed mankind had race hierachy,
even when Jesse Owens crashed the party.

That's how people look at you when you are racist,
half flipping barmy topped with irrational hatred
poor judgement alone defeated those fascists,
segregating themselves until exterminated....

Poetry In Motion Challenge From Richard & Mary
Turbulent impervious obsidian lifeless world clouds God's compassionate
betrothed faithful prayer family.
Moonlight joy havens awestruck love elation.
Aquamarine wave spirits hot desire
beyond passion.
Lilac crescent sky petals.
Life bliss vows hope peace freedom melody.
Azure northern light winds kiss calm stars.

A Sense For Sin
Hear the thunder within your ears,
Crashing down upon your fears,
See the footsteps from their meeting,
Behind it all, we are secretly bleeding,
Smell the blood upon the air,
Signaling murder without a flare,
Taste the embers upon your tongue,
Our weapons become obsolete, dull, and blunt,
Feel me tremble from your cold touch,
Sense the sorrow, fing the joy, although there isn't much.

Love and Poetry
Sassoon and Owens?
The learned men spend much time in libraries
to find about their private life,
dissecting poems to find the banal truth
about two men, “as no men love for long.”
I have read some of their work and my Scandinavian
soul find them a bit “over the top” perhaps feminine
In their endless longing lurking under the surface
Of the excellent verses.
They wrote famous lines. Therefore, they are celebrated.
Their gayness or not is too prosaic to mention....

A View To Review
deep red crepe myrtles
standing alert in the wind
their harmonies blend
as petals drift down like snow
on to the green plants that grow

red roses aglow
beside the walkway still grow
with one yellow rose
standing alone on its toes
beside rubber water hose

looking on the side
cedar trees stand tall with pride
small animals hide
dogwood and pecans abide
grass high need lawnmower to ride!
