for a picnic stand
so we could dip
and pop some whips

of fun and run

where we would pop whil

BUS OUTING
the best house
the lovely cars
the beautiful outing
the unspeakable love story
the sweetest travel
the deadliest adventure...
all these on the wings of wishes
it was a outing
doudting
it was a grove
the music they choose
was so cool hip hop
and pop
and classic soul
for food we had boil ham

SUMMER PARK JAM
Spheroid Rainbows.
Delicate,"Do not Touch"
Floating through emissions,
Of dirt and car exhaust.
A bubble family on an outing.
Performing acrobatics,
In the summer air.

HOMELESS FEATS
BUS OUTING
Writhe a worm
Fold of my arms
Global warm-ing
Squirming free from
Carriage ride
Chariot fire
Butterfly dye

PENNED ON AUGUST 03, 2014!
My family joined a summer outing
So excited for swimming and rafting
Mom got our swim vests with suits
Dad just brought his parachutes
And kept eyes on us, flying and shouting.
Way back in the day
I wouldn't get out my door
Unless I was looking great
Now I think at my age
It's great when I can just
Get out my door

A family picnic outing on the lawn,
Granny’s hair like dandelions in sun –
silver filaments, a childhood toy.
A puff of breath, the seedlets fly
the way the morning’s breeze has gone.
Memories wind-borne on the sky.
Zipping along toward the zoo that day
Zealot Zebra started to play.
He should have been watching the right-of-way.
Zoom. Zoom. Zoom. We began to pray.
A zealous cop made us pull over and stay.
Not a great start to our outing that day.

Once a shocking Norseman crowned Viking
Took his flaxen men on an ice outing
They lusted for fat Finns
Knocked walrus and dolphins
Why Arctic now with Vi-wal-phins seething.

Faith of a Chance
the night is upon us and we
know not the names of those
whom closely follow our outing
or why they joyfully take no heed,
instead lust is on their dark lips
and we evade away so avidly...
but can we escape
with little to no faith

Feel free
To be
To see
Fond spree
Go out
To shout
To route
Purge pout
Wear wit
To fit
To hit
Wise bits
Dare strange
To range
To change
Estrange
Live well
To tell
To dwell
Cast spell
Warm mood
To good
To food
Crisp wood

running down the aisle way, a-giggling
streams of paper white, a-streaming
an apocalyptic wriggle, shelves emptying
toddlers buy their wine and away their going
unexpected per-usuality of a pandemic outing
per chance my husband’s found this greeting
the sun has set on 2020, yet the panic’s continuing...

Caught in emotion
She went down to the ocean
To where the cliffs are extremely steep
And there she wept
Then finally lept
At a place called 'Lover's Leap'
But while doing here pouting
The tide took to outing
And now the tour guides to show
Where lost love and gravity
Made a large cavity
Far far on the beach below
REPRESENTATION
envisaged
a
basis
to
speculate
on
a potential
to
the
unrepentant
a
tour de force
of
magnaminity
exasperated
throughout
strikingly
infifferenct
where
the
bleak
stark
survive
in
the
realm
of fantasy
an
embodiment
of
progress
in
a
watchful
outing
of
the prosperous
&
the
common man
starting a journey
within the self
embarking on an
excursion into the soul
taking an outing
into the unknown
pack a picnic lunch
full of questions
that need answers
that hopefully will
be found on the way
to self awareness
once this field trip of
the present self
has come to it's conclusion
on the other
side of reality
By foreshore brink
A curious think
The lakeside draught
Hurls icy stuff
Cold air swirls flair
To flush cold fare
We walk around
Chilly strides ground
Lovely flats here
Prompt cost most clear
Hot coffee sips
In a warm grip
Kingston foreshore
Now tells me more

When Jesus burst on the fish scene,
Peter saw his net skills were quite keen.
"I don’t mean to be kvetching,
but as long as you’re catching,
can you make them both headless and clean?"
----------
Of course on his first encounter with Jesus, Peter had this to say:
“Go Away from Me, Lord, for I Am A Sinful Man!” (Luke 5:8)
soft whisper
day fading into shadows
afternoon rests
downtown outing
friends and strangers gather
passing conversations repeated
well-played songs
desires and dreams
linger
dreams and desires
songs played well
repeated conversations passing
gather strangers and friends
outing downtown
rests afternoon
shadows into fading day
whisper soft
Placid waters
Boat, mildly rocking
Cheerful faces
Picture perfect snaps

‘Wonderful family’
Flashback
Happy memories
Happy?
Nay!
Last ditch effort
At calming
Inside turmoil
Save marriage
Children’s sake
Alas!
Unbridgeable difference
Between
‘Perfect family outing’
And
‘Not so perfect family’
Mesmerizing in more ways than one!
Astral wonder; lovers underneath Milky Way.
Gooseberry-playing crescent moon above
Is widely smirking at jokes being exchanged.
Cacophony of sounds; unremitting, inviting.
A romantic picnic outing; quite magical.
Lambency of twilight beggars description!
You buy some tickets, make some plans,
Anticipate an outing
But always with an asterisk
For naturally, you’re doubting…
‘Cause life throws curve balls and you can’t
Be looking for straight pitches.
“The best-laid plans,” the saying goes,
Are filled with unknown glitches.
And so you cancel, with a shrug,
The strikeout one small zinger,
As fate delights in pointing
With its well-known fickle finger.
