Clerihew Oskar - Alma
Oh my...Oskar Kokoschka
why did you so love Mahler's Alma
All can see your infatuation with her charms
in this portrait lying in her arms*

Vignette-The Other Mahler
She was the passion of his life
Alma, fated never to be his wife,
In a relationship of tempest & strife-
As figures drifting upon a sea,
Sadly the closest,to eternal love for he.
Tribute to Oskar Kokoschka-see the 'The Tempest'...

Withinthe Circle
Within the Circle
Around the burned down stable, near
the oak that was struck by lightning,
there is a silence within the stillness.
I can hear screams of stabled mules
running in circles trampling each other
into a bloody mass and falling beams.
Within the circle sheltered by whispering
leaves I can hear rattling of chains and
the forest afar sings of endless sorrow.

Lost In a Sea of War
“What is there to say? They are my friends. I would do it again, over and over — for I hate cruelty and intolerance.” Oskar Schlinder
LOST IN A SEA OF WAR
daringly intrepid,
dazzlingly, dizzily
protecting the poor,
the unarmed, the kids,
those lost in a sea
of war — Schindler
and his musical score,
outscoring the hate
that seemingly won’t abate
but for God steps into
the shoes of man
