Southern lights dance on the barren plain.

Miles come and miles go,
Cloudless nights pass so very slow.

A promise pulls to the land's heart,
Far, far from journey's start.

Events and chance make emotions dance,
All aspects of adventure in a single glance.

Journeys come at a unique cost....

presides over the scree
A caravan of love

The wind whistles past
We are on the road again
to magic lands where the gypsy queen shows
the world her love

butterflies and buttercups

Life is like a four wheel drive
Mud and sand and things bogging you down
Kick it to low and take your time to strive
Than put it in over drive to go to town

Hills and rocks blocking your path way 
Just take it slow Wont bottom out
Your looking for a better day

When i go to the shops
I walk down the road
And stop at the place
Where the zebra is lying
Flat on its back
In the middle of the road
Opposite the newsagents

When i step carefully
On its back
All the traffics stops
And the zebra carries me safely
Across the road .

When ive done my shopping
Its still there
Waiting to carry me safely
Back across the road again .

I dont know how 
Id cross the road
Without my zebra ....

heart screaming tears, unspoken words, that have seeped deep within my veins,
the uncertainty of fear, the losses in my life, with such overwhelming pain,
breaking me down, numbing my heart, solitude was my friend,
a million thoughts carried through my mind, as i traveled that road again,
there was a time when i lost all sight on where love had stood in my life,
until i found a love that was so beautiful and true, the love of jesus christ....

final closure.

have to end?

have to begin?
Pain is my normal,
misery is my everyday,
I'm glad our last talk 
was formal,

The northern wind catches me and takes me upriver
I repose for a bit next to teensy startled minnows
She returns for me and flicks me up into the sky
I am light and lithe, unhurried, unworried, and we are off.

You are so lucky! A prissy prim violet calls to me as I pass. 
I do not understand floral, so I stick out my chin a bit.
Wind whispers against the leaves as we head through forest of oak. 
I am on the road again, my heart singing, wishing for another eagle....

Cleaning the mud and gunk
From our teeth that just blends
With our armor that continues to defend

It was drudgery,
mundane and back breaking,
they said often,
you are leading a dog's life,
just a straight line,
no trouble and strife,
bearing the burden,
a day will come,
all of asudden,
when you will collapse,
and in death relapse,
move a little here and there,
from your path,
look at fun,frolic and froth,
there is time still,
before you get still,
this did not move me a bit,
I had my road again hit,
knowing well fun,frolic and froth,
leads you to a dog's death....
