Outcrops of tall date palms
Oasis; a mirage

Outshines dreary desert.
Obscure mirage lost in
Opulent tranquil trove,
Opens vista of vibe.
Octave of breeze pulsates
On opalescent lake.
On an odyssey trek,
overjoyed to find Zen,
oasis, green and lush,
overture of bird songs,
opalescent calm hues,
ornamental flowers,
otherworldly magic.
this dry wasteland
longs for your shades beneath
a copper of stars,
while those flowing eyes
become love’s oasis.

In life, morphed desert
Desiccated, you chase mirage
My heart melts
Come, drink my oasis.

death colours' season
takes a new torch to run with
until legs resist
~thirsty crossing the desert
looking for new oasis
Talk of an Oasis feud is over,
Brit-pop the corks for the supernova,
fair play to those Burnage boys,
tour dates set to make some noise,
they'll walk in sunshine, champagne and clover.
Overwhelming desires
Occasional oaths, vows
Offerings, gentle grace
Openly giving, truths
Obedient to God,
Observing His laws, words
Omnipresent light, love
Our ripe minds protrude
Waiting to be ripped-
A signal to leave behind
The excess of all other moments
We allow our fallen tails
Re absorption through the ground
Back into the neverending fervor
A flood, my loyal eyes disobeyed me
Tears like fractured glass betrayed me,
Stabbed my face, into a dry oasis,
My body, overthrown by the love of you,
Yet my soul, still untouched by your rain…
Oasis, quench my dearth
On your lap, here I plead
Over the skin of earth
Only your hand's my lead
Our hearts were meant to be
Or, my soul can't be free
Of all friends, you're my tea

On the horizon, it shimmers and gleams.
A bright green oasis beckons parched dreams.
So lush, inviting, it's not what it seems.
It's an illusion, a mirage of beams,
Scintillating in incandescent streams.
This place is a poisoned oasis
in the desert of my loneliness;
A false haven promising friendship,
love, and life.
Mirages all!
A trick performed with mirrors
in a paradise of lies.
You spark my thoughts,
flame my desires,
a passion laying waste to the page.
Words of ink
shimmer in the distance
a mirage appears as your face.
I lap at the thoughts before they disappear,
burning at the sweet embrace.

After April rains
the desert dryness
apparent this spring
has unfolded
in green expression..
This new coloration
a multiplicity
of leaf and bird
coloring bleak dryness
as mind and world
emerging in Spring...
