Stardust lay o'ver demon who had lost a gleeman
Shadowy as nightfall, haunted like vile downfall
Rising flaming ball
Wandering spirit’s last call
Rest until nightfall

Lying here at dawn
empty arms longing for you,
a new heart you've found.
Morning embraces nightfall,
true love has forsaken me.
A captured raven
Ignites the dark within her
Nightfall awakens
Out there, light lives forever
Will she survive or succumb
Solemn overcast
of black
spotlighted by
tingling
twinkling stars
who's jealousy
take over the sky
unholy earth calls
darkness commanded by sun
powers suspended
resurrection at nightfall
an eternal damnation
~Tasting winter's bite as nightfall drowns this grief, my ink begins to pour.~

Nightfall
Ravens shadow westward
twilight wings unfurl
daylights span receding
as darkness envelops the world.

In the nightfall
the midnight moon shines it all
giving hope to the lost
its light emanates bliss
into every heart
saving them from eternal collapse
Soft
lights blink
underneath
shaded starry
sky
swift
glowing
firefly
quietly passes
by
Birds
chirps sweet
lullaby,
sway to world of
dreams.
the desert sky slipped into indigo,
coy and slow.
a single star blinked awake,
checking to see if
the desert was ready for company
Brilliant nightfall views
Barbs of darkening hues
Specter of sunlight gems
Vespers obscuring into godsends
Elegant devoutness
In worshipping grandness
Cocktail purple dress
Lays on the pink ruffle quilt
With silver dress shoes
For the violet gala
In the indigo nightfall
3-14-2016
Small bird on the branch
Scouting what it came here for
Lost upon the breeze
Flickers in the mind
Like leaves falling from the tree
Gone before nightfall
The grass rustles
after nightfall—
armadillos hunting.

Bluey black, clouds and waves
Dark shades, shadow the nightfall
The cobalt coastline

Nightfall comes, dark engulfs the bright
Some hearts are craving for the light
To show their way through pathless dream
Through wild rivers and shaggy streams
nightfall in the woods
field mouse scurries on the ground
an eagle takes flight
snowflakes gathering
pine boughs droop beneath the weight
hatchlings to be fed
good morning my frothy white mini doily
love your lacy presence welcoming another day
you may be barren by nightfall my beauty
Kansas winds blowing your seeds away
Seasons travel in time
Mood and weather swings the chime
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall
Birds, trees play 'round 'til nightfall
Seasons change year round, turn 'round!
blooms in darkness fade
silhouettes cast at nightfall
dream another day

the moon takes its place,
the stars accentuate the sky,
darkness' been summoned,
nightfall has opened its door,
we take strides in the moonlight.

Shadows cross my doorway
Silence fills my soul
I smile at the coming of my friend
For darkness brings the quiet
Then peace at last begins
So, I wait
I wait for my friend
