Wintery Mix

As wintery mix seeps in
Snow shovels starts to move again
Snow causes slips and falls
Tossing you against the walls
While making your body tail-spin

Casseroles are so easy. Taking my red pot, and adding some fun veggies. Add great meat to pot, mix in some water. Now cooking. Ummmmm!!!

mix 3

A sigh of sound
sweet batting of eyes
there is no end
to worrisome

our defence is to gather
round the fireside
where the spirit
fails to congeal

Oh, How Silly!

Although my poems are not so numerous
I try to make them a little humerous
I'm certainly not a bard
but I do try very hard
to mix in a bit of the ridiculous

Friendly and ferocious, yapper-pup hurls red-sweater embrace.
Demure sisters bark in pink, their tandem peek-a-boo’s, I chase.

Lady Tua

Lady Tua, frequently look in the pond,
but who may tell her ladyship?
That turbulent water shows no reflection.

The mother

Sleep tight, my child dear.
Mother is here, nothing to fear.
If the child snatcher, comes at our steps.
I will stab him with my own hands.
                                                                      ~Byeol

Earthly Life Is a Sweet Mix

There is God to worship
Hidden devils to venerate
Lives of many to betray
Few priests to hear petitions

Tongues to taste life’s soup
each with own tasteful taste
all are right, few could be right
before the tongue master

In the Mix With Immortality

Love lingers in my life, my alluring air;
A golden glow and glamour, gift from a holy ghost,
like a fine flower so free and fair
cruising with creative colours in a cool coast,
God's lasting law, traded to us...my tender toast.

Reality is sometimes very difficult
to face.
When you are Star Gazing, you
think in your Life Summary.

Mix

My desires a butterfly
Dancing in the wind
With a coat of many colors.
Your heart a flower
In full bloom
Striking with beauty and aroma.
How I wish to land upon you
Quench my thirst with nectar as I flap my wings........
Your beauty and mine make mix.

A Bundle of Mix

Once upon a time
there was a little Cup Cake,
just there unmoving
and cold from the wintery
room temperature.
The icing was deep purple,
just a circle of sugar.
Suddenly it was picked up
and passed over from
one hand to another...
Halloween was here!

Premium Member Meow Mix

A friend of mine came here from the Ukraine
His taste in food was admittedly plain
   He dined on little cans
Used a fork or his hands
From Meow Mix he just couldn't refrain

A-llow not the brawl or bruit.

B-oisterous bluster and blare
R-uin the serenity;
A-im not to utter clamor,
C-all not attention raucously.
E-ngage not in contest,

Fire and Dreams Don'T Mix

5 am at your front door, past out from the night before,
Do you find me disrespectful?
What a shame it wasn't your place, I'm such a disgrace,
How could I be so forgetful?

I do remember 4 am when the fire still had an ember,
It was then I saw your cute face,
But it seems that it was just a dream,
As I ended up in a fiery brace.

Creative Mix

As we walk through fire
As we wade through
Torrents of water
Let's mix His alter with fire
Mix His alter with praise
Mix our words
With God’s Words
His unstoppable Words!
Then the Spirit of God
Will hover over our lives
Resting on our lives
Mixing and uniting us
With His Body and Blood
Bringing health and strength!

In the Mix

When Slippery Susie starts to stare

Everson Everly is happy to share

Entices Everson yes she can

Does as she likes as she leads her man

So it seems Susie is the one

Mistake it may be or can this be done

Ordinary question where is the answer

Kicking purple heels on the floor a dancer

Enjoying the Music that they create; regardless...

A Mix of Truth with a Few Lies

Truth isn't always a good look,
It can be as painful as reading
a very sad book.

Its easy and appealing
To be deceiving,
It obviously wont crush those
Inner feelings.

If the truth is too bitter,
Why wouldn't you mix something
a little sweeter?

Then it is then easier to satiate
that way the falsity doesn't
hold as much weight.

Mix

Confused, as it may be
Love is that insane Mix of feelings
Gad, to Think I spent so much time looking for it
For Her,
As if awakening from a sleep of lost expectation
Drawn perfect, in a sundress, sweet eyes and a smile
It dawned on me, Love….
What caught my eye then spoke to me, She was brilliant,
             I was Thankful I looked.
