As a Brit, I shouldn’t know Betty Crocker, but there’s a song called ‘Ladies’ with the lyric, “In my kitchen baking cake is Betty Crocker”. Cake mix or no… if I made a cake… you could use it to stick bricks together. Hope. Yours turned out better.

Oh, believe me, I am not a baker. I can cook, but I can't bake. Baking is too exact for me.

If anyone should know it was you when you were five and you tried to bake a cake lol. Sadly you were reprimanded just think Milton if your mom would have encouraged your baking you might of turn out to be a Baker. Just a thought...

Funny! Actually, my mom taught me about all I know about cooking. She was an outstanding baker, known for her yeast rolls, but I never mastered them. Baking? I've made one cake in my life...a pineapple upside down cake. It turned out okay.
