Hot Kitty Rancid Milk
The craziest thing has happened to me
I saw a cat humping a bee
She meowed once with delight
I covered my eyes from the sight
Then she started humping my knee...

tiny kitten
swiped the air
opened her paw
nothing there

tried again
other paw
opened slowly
naught, it saw

smacked her lips
then meowed
curled up to sleep
bent, not bowed...

Coffee Cup
I sat down the mat,
Sipped hot chocolate and stared
Blankly at the black cat
Like I never cared.

It meowed and meowed,
Filled the room with the meowing sound
And ran away to the door
Where the cat accidentally slipped.

I was surprised,
Dropped my cup to the floor
And down it went,
Broken to jigsaw pieces....

Blood From the Nipple
sun sunk unto the womb
of the sea
stars cried at the tomb
tears of warm blood
through glittering eyes
moon meowed, dogs sang melodies
unheard
rivers rattled prayers breathed
unborn kids, mirror is a
jailor
secrets in the seed tears on the cheeks
mirror mutinied
naked dusks wingless birds limping
silence of the divine music flows
colourful coffins saints marching
blood from the nipple
breast milk
tasteless...

Premium Member How cottage cheese was created
The cow took a chance, pirouetted and pranced
to the ancient tune..
Her body sagged and one foot snagged and she
tripped on the tip of the moon..
Farmers found her at the trough.
Dogs danced in circles,
Roosters meowed.
Crows began cawing at quarter to five.
The locals were astounded the cow had survived..
The people now swear she has special powers.
A farmer sells her cottage cheese as most
her milk has soured....

On a snowflake day just before Christmas kitty cat waited all day outside, he meowed to me, "dress me warm 'cause I want to be Santa's sleigh guide!" ________________________ December 17, 2018 Poetry/Couplet/A Cute Christmas Couplet Copyright Protected, ID 18-1095-050-01 All Rights Reserved. Sprinkled Cinnamon
The smell of green grass after rain
A silky texture was added to the moisturized air gently touching my skin
Listening to a Bossa Nova and the calming waves
Espresso with a little whipped cream
Cinnamon is sprinkled on top
My dear cat Jemima, meowed
That was her reply to my sneeze
“That music isn't your taste!

What’s the matter with you?”
Someone said over there
“Is that right? Thank you for telling me.”
He might know who I am more than me....

Premium Member Bandit
A Bandit robbed the pastry shop
Now he lies upon his seat
He's so stuffed he can't lick his paws
Even though he is so neat

He has meowed a sad meow
Tears trickle behind the mask
He would contemplate his navel
But seeing it a task

He's considering retiring
Or change his present trade
His mother would support him
Oh! don't put on a charade

He'll just have to suffer through this
Maybe go on a diet
Who is kidding whom?_we know
He won't even try it ...

Premium Member Old, Old Themes
At the sound of an opening door
crows cawed a warning
A stray cat perched upon the fence
meowed good morning

The warm sticky fog touched each pore
Made life uncomfortable
How early in spring does summer
Appear so formidable

Each plant contained within a pot
Cries for moisture please
Like works upon the edited page
Call a similar reprise

From old, old themes can lines read new
to modern generations
Let my lines ring within their hearts
a message to nations

Premium Member Where Do I Eat
Where do I eat? The groom asked his bride.
kitchen table was full of a large cat, Mr. Jeckell ak Hyde
Fat cat gave the honeymooner a sneer and a gentle hiss
The bride rolled her eyes and blew her husband a big kiss

He tried to give her a cuddle, but the cat meowed to beat the band
Now the groom was wondering if he should have given her his hand
She was the ultimate cat mama, and deferred to Hyde every single time
This cat sat in the middle of each meal glaring that “she is mine”....

Special Cat
As the runt of the litter
I knew she would be mine
A black ‘n white ball of fur
She was one of a kind.

Wrapped me ‘round her finger
With her little rounded ears
And little button nosed face
Looked at me and meowed “Cheers”.

She grew up so very fast and
Totally pampered and fun
She was the light in my heart
As she’d hop and play and run.

But she did not stay with me long
A pedigree, is not always best
She was so special but died young
I loved her more than all the rest!...
