How cottage cheese was created

The cow took a chance, pirouetted and pranced
to the ancient tune..
Her body sagged and one foot snagged and she
tripped on the tip of the moon..
Farmers found her at the trough.
Dogs danced in circles,
Roosters meowed.
Crows began cawing at quarter to five.
The locals were astounded the cow had survived..
The people now swear she has special powers.
A farmer sells her cottage cheese as most
her milk has soured.

Hi Daniel, This was a poem I wrote when temporarily on a beta blocker and then I lost my ability to rhyme or my muse is on a sabbatical or something. I'm glad you thought it funny. Blessings to you my poetry friend..

There's a lot of imagery and movement in this lovely, cute light verse, Nancy! Well done to your creative imagination! I've heard that cottage cheese is ideal for those who go on a diet to lose weight. ~ Regards // paul
