You Never Know

you never know
when the record player strikes
and vinyl floats and sums

pop stars melt down
to ordinary people
while female choir sings meekly

My Memories Never Fail

In my baby diaper i sang
Then motherly songs never slang
Lullaby welcomes me home meekly
In me lies hope boldly
But i still remain a child in the gang

Premium Member President Biden's Four Years

It seems that Biden's term soon goes,
And is replaced by whom? Nobody knows.
  So may I meekly propose
  He who now controls,
That Devil from hell, George Soros.

Successful Clergyman

Looks for birds in the bush
to preach vague salvation,
and they listen meekly
if he is the man of God
loaded with divine words
tipped with fire of truth
that no creature can ignore
his success flies in clouds

The Inpatient Falcon

The duck plunged under water
but unable to endure
the headstrong falcon followed him
beneath the meekly sewer

While falcon’s feathers all were soaked
Duck rose in the air
and mocked the bird of prey
who was drowning there.

Premium Member Meekly

Meek looks so mild
But can be wild

Seek to be clear
With happy cheer

Peek as you look
To deeper books

Geek can be cool
To play the fool

Meek moments kind
Bring peace of mind

In Front Of The Class

In front of the class
she obediently stands
her fingers locked in cradled hands
with downcast eyes and trembling lip
she leaks a tear that sears her soul
then meekly voiced
and barley heard
she mumbles what she thinks the teacher wants.

A flower,
head meekly bowed,
drops crumbling petals.

Her blossom,
once vibrant and proud,
pleads for yesterday.

The clock face,
looks down from the wall,
pitiless and cold.

His allure
too great for beauty
to ever deny.

Drowning

I drowned in the ocean of tranquilly
I was like driftwood
turning deeply in the empathic sea

My orbs
became my listening device
soft mud preserved my rib cage

In the eyes of the believer
I sojourn meekly
anointing the hereafter
hungry like Lazarus
with my long knows

Summer Valediction

Muted swans in silent waters
watch as swallows spiral upwards
far away into the distance.
Vibrant flowers lose their beauty,
Fading, wilting, meekly dying
as the summer's sad surrender
honours autumn's golden reign.

Premium Member Charmed Slumber

In the midst of midnight twilight
sleep meekly fades in the moonlight.
Umber earth and men encumber,
nature’s chatter, charmed in slumber.
Tranquil dreams of peace, no sorrow,
thankful for light of tomorrow.
Epic heartbeats waves break away
warm cinders soothe the moment stay.

It’s only make believe, I know
But in my fondest dream I go
To some resplendent mountain peak
To gain the precedent I seek
Whereby the wisdom of the Son
Who meekly died for everyone
Is turn the other cheek.

Our Close Fiend

quiet happy on this side
fear a brutal blanket
that covers predicted loss
without fear would we even strive
or meekly live this life
Heroes know fear
cowards know nothing else
Without fear the monsters
never noticed
and love forever stained
Raise a class of cheer
For the champion of the world
our closest friend our fear

Premium Member Stuffed Tiger

A fat tiger sat beside her;
it settled down, began to purr
The girl, Anita, said, “Oh My.”
quietly, trying not to cry.
“You want to eat me up”? She said
“put your big teeth around my head?”
To her surprise, the tiger spoke
“not just now,” he said, half in joke.
“Why not?” She asked, rather meekly
“‘cause I only eat once weekly.”

The Other Side of the Road

Every morning I look on yonder
Staring meekly across the way as I ponder
The lawn is green, and the house is nice
Cabinets stuffed with vegetable, meat and spice

The longer I linger the more envy I gain
My thoughts start to swirl around in my brain
I feel a weight in my chest that I have to unload
So I head on over to The other side of the road

Premium Member The Presenter

Casually callow
superficial and shallow
this young media fellow.

Lordly and light
trivial and trite,he sat
filling the moment with tat.

Sketchily slight
meekly absorbing
every sound bite.

Clips so neat
in endless repeat the spin
with an endless grin.

In-depth review so lacking
as instant opinions abound
impartiality missing unfound.

Butterfly Effect

t flits gracefully,
freely,meekly,beautifully,
so high into the sky,

capturing your attention,
mesmerizing not to mention,
in all its glorious perfection,
earning all your affection,

without a warning,
without a trace,
it goes,
and you are left without nothing,
wavering and lingering,

realizing shockingly
that the butterfly effect has effected...

Premium Member Broken Hearted Man

Bleeds
Pleads
Begs
Love leaks down his sleeve
Bone and bristle
Heart reaped
Soul raped
A broken man with homeless face
Waiting
Meekly at hells fiery gates
Dreams in a bottle
Messages from above
Broken glass cuts deep
Into rivers red of bloody consumption
The earth takes what the pregnant give
Spitting away
The butterflies
That hover and hope
For better days

Son Of Sorrow

He walked beneath the olives’ shade,
In silence, deep as night’s descent,
With all the world’s great sorrows laid
Upon His shoulders, meekly bent.

The wine He poured, the bread He broke,
He shared with love, though none would see
That He would bear the final yoke,
And lift the weight of misery.

Blood and water, mingled, flowed—
A gift, unbound, to light the road.

Unafraid

I gasp between your eyes
your repotorie is shriekable
your multindous cast is wearisome
So don't expect me to surjoin you

Your daylight is a muffled affair
with the fumigation of tobacco
Spiders in your saucepan
and snails in your water bucket

Try and strife another day
although you are mottled
and your cup runs meekly
I maybe squanderable
watching you
I am unafraid
