Premium Member Beach Brawl

In swim trunks, the balls were out.
Each one scored a mighty shout.
	digressed to a maul,
	in a beachside brawl
Winners were in serious doubt.

brimmed eyes
squinting against the noon brightness.
gloved hands

feel as if in a bad maul.

Rebellion Storm

Rebellion is a storm It rumbles
Tossing, scouring and rolling stubbornly

On it is trail ruins and destruction tell its tale

Bold and bruising, bursting forth to attack
Everyone’s enemy, ever the worst of all
An angry animal hunting, just for a snack
So sentient, sensing the right time to maul
Talons tearing with a loud and terrible call

Princess Chupa

You wear a clean tuxedo daily,
It gleams in the light, so soft,
You maul me with precious mittens,
Mittens I press a kiss to every time,
Watching you grow is a joy,
Every household object is a toy,
Ambitious you are,
How you speak to me,
Whining for a fresh can of tuna,
You are my princess, precious Chupa.

Brawl At Maul Horn Haiku

Brawl In Maul Horn Haiku

After brawl in maul
When prices began to fall
Bills had become tall.

What we will need you
To do when my poems are through
Love them that is true.

Greatest poems are now
Do you think maybe somehow
To love them should vow.

Backyard Maul

This was final game of the year for the Pittsburgh Panthers, our team
Was to be a fight between bitter rivals, though one would fall
Our rival, The Mountaineers, had their best season, going to a dream
Both fought for glory, with determination at the Backyard Brawl,
Pittsburgh, the underdog, crushed dreams, at that Backyard Maul.

Cannibals

They bite me,
they maul me,
They're feeding on my flesh.
They tear, they dig into my corpse,
until theres nothing left.

enjoying every drop of blood,
they sink their teeth in me,
Devouring all my inner strength,
ignoring all my pleads.

I try to fight theses monsters,
but they do not fear me,
They only want the hope I have,
 that lingers still in me.

Panther

Once the gentle panther was loved by all
save dragon, the Devil, who hid in fear.
Believed to be good it held all in thrall
likened to the life of Christ held so dear
for rising after three days’ rest to call,
roaring so loud and sweet none failed to hear.
But wild, they follow to a fatal maul
with a sleek panther of face so frightening,
hidden from prey then killed like lightning.

English Dream

Thrice a summer aphrodisia snickered in my face
Yesteryear the fog of boreal passion surfaced across my window frame
Omnifarious passions are surfacing
The insignificance of homosapiens stood the test of time
Life molests all of us, maul us, then sing us to sleep
Spiraling through dimensions decorated with brothels and strip clubs
Aging with the grains of pebble stones
Aphrodisia is a tourist

My God

Why does your religion
have to disfavor mine
To speak to its converts
and prattle Divine

Foundations this slanted
are poised for a fall
Appeasing their zealots
who follow and maul

More killed by religion
in His holy name
Than famine and pestilence
ever can claim

The tenets left foreign
to God’s true intent
Epiphanies barren
—all grace to relent

India

India
by Nandlal K. Pancholi

AIDS and raids and RDX dunes
Bell-hop cops poor politic's peons
Daud philoo Memons macabre dons
Maul megapolis all perilous pawns

Harshad hotshot handsome hero
Bofors pay off probe by Nero
Riot-hit state of riot-hit cities
Parrallel perennial animosities

Political parties pelt at each other stones
common man woe-ridden groans and moans
Over disputes hot House adjourns
Path to progress strewn with thorns

Give

As repetitious boundaries' maul
to newer interests adds recall.
Affords thee not, while phantom's call
brings hovering, losings appall
that wastes my time, some sensor small
~ indictment at its worst, in all.

Do bridge my deity with tall
consenting, as with bravery's pull
some action leads to bright excel,
God's willing servant, not enthrall
of self-love, hindering with its spell
and then to you, some hope install ~

As grace gives bearing ~ give console!

Yours Faithfully

A killer roams these streets at night
all for pleasure, out of sight.
Prowling neath' a pallid moon,
the midnight hour approaches soon.
A surefire glance secures her prey,
she readies stance if she may
pace stealthily in quiet advance
and maul her catch with graceful prance.
She discards her victims at my back door
and slinks to shadow to kill some more.
Two stiff brown mice a careless bat
a curled up shrew and eyeless rat.
For my freindship with an alleycat.

My Demons

Throwing your rum
Against an X’s wall
Shows what I’ve become
As I pass out in my hall

Shedding alcohol tears
Is quite a sign
Losing my life is a fear
I’m falling behind

My kids are asleep
I love them with my all
Though they silently weep
At their father’s fall

But I don’t want to stop
You know this alcoholism
Is my final drop
To what is one hell of an exorcism

So my demons are gone
But the memory does maul
Tonight I sleep on the lawn
With my stars I stall
