Life is a masquerade
coming into this
world not knowing
who is who or what
is what, but the
beauty of it is the
mystery
Form:
You pretend,
To be,
Everything to me!
I pretend,
To
Believe it!
I once needed a lawyer,
for the problem I had with my employer
the promises made
were all a masquerade
dim lawyer, turned out to be a naysayer
Good and bad are truisms…
a qualitative masquerade
Ideology trumping feeling
—in flashes of joy and pain

Stain glass masquerade
each face a different mask
lost in reflection
Should my masquerade mask fall
Conscious suppression exposed,
Naked as the day I was born
Thrust into life's Mardi Gras
Masquerade of a News Man
Brian Williams
As NBC anchor made millions.
Suspended while lying during a muse;
Credibility unnecessary to move to Fox News.
What's the truth
Carnival?
general revelry, or
Bal masqué...?
tumultuous joy ?
Masquerade Ball ...!
Fake wellfare... !?
Vivacious urgency amidst the masquerade of faces
Intoxicating senses, driving madness to insanity.
Intense betrayals soundlessly distract, unmasking secrets.
Worries etched in despair and blood.
Outrageous attempts to masquerade us.
Righteously hidden in the wrongs.
Drowning out the truth.
Significantly affecting youthful minds.
The masquerade party theme was to show
What your love life is like for all to know
One man without blinkin'
Said, "I am Abe Lincoln,"
"My last four scores were seven years ago!"

Four members of Charles the sixth of France court die in a fire
At a masquerade ball, six hundred thirty two years ago
Lesson that should be learnt by all men, punishment is ahead
Little Red-Cap, I can see
no wolf would ever bother thee.
You'd not buy the masquerade
of his best laid plans, misplayed.
As I'm not the lupine brand,
would you gently take my hand?
A mask
Left without face
Guarded a man with scars
Kept him in lonely seclusion
The public made him a brutal nightmare
Took a matrimony with shadows
Evolved into a myth
Story of hate
A mask
Masquerade dancer
lifted into the ether
light and lithe
Masquerade dancer
jealous of his partner
wanting to be wanton
Masquerade dancers
hiding secrets from each other
trusting no one
in sweet there's no sour
sour can be mixed
to make disguised face
masquerade may be fixed
real is real hides inner
union may be false
in true love in all condition
dancing may be of Watlz
Poised
in innocence,
Quite
the masquerade
Everyone's
a fool
Very
well played
Her boudoir
The biggest stage
'Mirror, mirror
On the wall,
Who's
the most cunning
Of them all'
Beauty is deceptive masquerade
Love is a dark looming shadow
And we both are the nightbirds
Dancing masquerade in the shadow
Possessed by deceptive beauty and
Losing our way in one night of love!
the sultry masquerade of night
kindles a vibrant, fevered blush
lust unchecked by daylight’s grace
blooms blissfully in gloaming’s trance

THE PASSION OF A JUE JU Contest
25 Jul 2014
The hours screamed
Fine warnings eclipsed
By the science that is
Her lovely masquerade
for no woman upon bended knee
have I fostered much passion
The love of my sexy nightmare
Breast of the famous queen
You deceiver!
Living like a caterpillar
To hide a butterfly.
A shroud of innocence
Covers a fire beneath.
You fool so many
Each thinking he is the first
To discover
What lies beneath the cocoon.
Hey lover!!!!!!
Who would u say u are?
The spear that pierce
Or the balm that soothe
The fast masquerade drum
Or the slow lullaby at night
Think wise and sort these
``cause you can’t be all of these

ensnared in her masquerade...
Inspired by numerous sightings of homelessness while traveling by train.
