The Masquerade Party

The masquerade party theme was to show
What your love life is like for all to know
One man without blinkin'
Said, "I am Abe Lincoln,"
"My last four scores were seven years ago!"

OK here's letting everyone know I'm Canadian and I don't get it. But I'm sure it's very witty because it sounds really funny, Pat. Please copy your response and send it to me by SoupMail please to make sure I see it...

Thank you so much, Mr. International Poet. Now that you mention it, it does sound vaguely familiar. LOL

The first lines of the Gettysburg address, which is a famous speech by one of our most famous presidents. (He's on the penny) was: Four score and seven years ago, our forefathers brought forth on this continent a new nation.......................(It's long, but arguably his most famous speech! It was about the civil war over slaves) I'm finding out I'm not real great at being an "international poet", but I'm trying!.......80)
