They say that with you
I should be able to fly
Higher than before.
But sadly it's just not true,
So the high remains a lie.

Mango Pickle

Preparing mango pickles
Give the nose pungent tickles
Sneezing all through the day
In the hot month of may
Eyeing the yummy oil filled bottles

Do you like Mango? He said

Marvelous in its taste
Magnificent, its smell
Multicolored it is

"Mom, this Mango is not
moist or as orange as
Michaels, it's yucky green
moldy, this is moldy."
"Mary, are you certain?"
"Maybe, let me look, oh;
mine's an Avocado!"

Mellow mango, red gold,
Myriad ways to eat,
Marvel of June smoothies,
Munchable with ice cream.
Mesmerizing pink moon
meets orchard of delight,
Mulberry sun comes soon.

Chasing Mango Trees

fruits like lights
enticing
moths to the flame

tired of chasing
them away

child of the streets
why do you roam
chasing mango trees

where is your home?

Make a mango levitate in water
Look at its surface like a buoy floating
Pretend there's a treasure chest attached below
Peel the skin to reveal pure gold
Hollow out the mango holding a gem.

Mango, Peach and Lime

I am made of mango, peaches and lime.
Mango for the motherland I come so sweetly from
Peach for my compassion and endless supply of love
Lime because I am sour with a twist-
I’ll kiss my knuckles before throwing my fist.

Sweet Mango

here i am lying
trying waiting for something
your shape and smell i'm loving

i need you so bad
only desire wish i had
Girl come down i'm going mad

sweet and delicious
color of gold you're precious
come closer don't be anxious
Form: Choka

Mango Colored Skies

Mango colored skies,
kisses away
the nightly breath
of the evenings sigh.

Sugary sprinkles scatter into the sky,
as the stars begin to rise and fall.

Tonight I will learn to fly,
like a star my soul will zoom on by.

Fallen Mango

In Summer, a Fallen Mango
Cried, as it Failed to
Feed Someone’s Hunger.

It Dried in the Sun,
Buried in the Ground,
Crying all the Way.

Monsoon came, Showering
it’s Blessings of Life
And the Crying Mango Sprouted.

Mango Spring

Tantalizing green was the color of spring green mangoes.
Sitting high, calling out to me again from the windows!
Pray a strong wind comes around
Lays them down on the ground
How I want to taste them, but “You'll fall sick” ,Ma echoes!

Mango

Mango
Warm and sweet in the summertime
Bright like the sunshine
My starburst ... technicolor dreamboat fantasy
Lapping up every trickle of ecstasy that runs down your skin
Tantalizing the way your flesh melts on my tounge
Ripe for the picking
Come to me

On Top of a Mango Tree

Upon a hill, on top of a mango tree
There I wrote my poetry
Under the scorching sun that pierces the leaves
Trying to dig the thoughts under my sleeves

Sky was blue and wind was high
All around, the wild bees fly
The birds sang a melody
Like a sublime rhapsody

Mango Madness

mango madness

the best mangos
I ever had
were in India

in the early spring
mango madness
spreads across India

as mangos are in season
and mangos are everywhere
on every menu

so sweet
so fragrant
so magical

mango madness
takes over
my soul

as I eat my mango
dreaming mango dreams
