Premium Member The Jaundiced Eye

We err and are granted opportunity to cleanse the stain
Why then look at the temporarily misaligned with disdain

How arrogant is your jaundiced eye!

Let's humble it with a slap of pie!

The Nightmare

Awakened dreams, nightmarish quips
Jaundiced tear drops, blooded thrips

Winter's sloe, wrathful mourn
Howled wails, petalled thorn

Sullen smile, blackened finesse

Vase of red roses instead of

Gilding my White Lilly not pudging

Premium Member Love Thyself

Our fellow brother
has a jaundiced eye.
It’s best to smother
our foolish heart’s sigh.

Noblesse oblige’s passé.
Why’d we trauma bond
with rabid dogs stray?
Just smile and abscond.

Premium Member dowdy drab doris

Doris was dowdy, drab, and draggle-tailed too
Forever frumpy, frightened, a failure, at age thirty-two
Jaundiced, juicy-gossipy, jealous, and July jailed
Slovenly, slithery, shipwrecked, her moment had sailed.

Sister Jaundice

If I sound jaundiced, so be it!
All men are liars, get over it,
All men are unfaithful, that's it,
They like being miserable, leave 'em to it,
If I sound jaundiced, so be it,
All men are liars, I got over it!

Candle of the Heart

when fragile candles caress tawny skin,
you watch the honeyed flame shimmer air.
This morphs in shade by tinted cream
like jaundiced moths that kiss magenta lips

Premium Member Fake Gnus

'Tis noted that some media at times express divisive and jaundiced views!

Hence, such inane twaddle has reputedly become known as fake gnus!

(Written with considerable tongue in cheek and with profuse apologies
to the innocent African antelope known as a gnu!)

Yingluck, Yingluck

Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, good duck
Good luck, dead duck

Helen of Thailand,
You launched thousand foes,
Your sorroral defenses
Of Thaksin
Was a sin, is a sin
Unkennelling jaundiced protesters
Causing you a premier ruin.
Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, dead duck!

jovial jackleg lawyer was no jewel
pro-bono sounded good until we met this fool
he had a jaunty way, but jaundiced jibber jabber
We sent him packing and hired Flim Flam, a flibber flabber
F.F. was a jellyfish full of jovial jiggery-pokery
Jocundity justice was now playing with my kinfolk from Muskogee

Premium Member Life and Value

Life And Value Written: by Miracle Man 1/28/2021 Life is, that infinite number of days, bestowed by God, to fulfill our earthly purpose. While all life has value, God alone values each life as being equal. What man sees regarding value, is often determined, through a jaundiced eye.

Jaundiced Heart

"Don't be sad, don't be blue
One test score doesn't define you
You're more than marks, you're bright
Learn from mistakes, shine with new light

Keep calm, stay strong, and carry on
Your dreams and goals are still within reach, Clear
I believe in myself, don't give up the quest
You'll rise again, and do your best!"

Dream

strength of a thousand
does this one person have
to stand up
with pride in his stance
and fire in his eyes
agree or disagree
he has his say
with great courage
he speaks of tomorrow
and the day after
declaring his secret hopes
while the world looks on
with a jaundiced eyes
to watch this man and
The fire in his eyes

Premium Member Janitors July Jamboree

jaunty jack-o-lantern joined
jingly jangly janitors’ July jamboree

jaundiced Jasper, Jack’s jackhammer
juggled and jostled the journey in jovial jollity.

Jovial Jukebox Julep juxtaposed Jasper and Jack’s
jonquils, joining the July Jubilee

Javelin, a jazzy jaybird, jangled Judy’s jaguar,
who jabbered jokingly and jauntily.

What's Wrong With Me

My breath is rank,
My teeth jaundiced,
My hair uncombed.
My face sullen,
Voice like a crow
If I had a hall of mirrors
I could have a murder,
Thousands of raven black wings
My beak, our beaks
Thrashing.
My ugliness will define
The only trophy I will ever shine
As I sit on the power lines,
Croaking out harsh messages
To the passerby.

The Devils Pillow

A kindled fire raged mad life inferno,
there's nowhere left to run, hide, or go.

no sleep for weeks jaundiced eyes yellow,
laying in hot sweaty sheets on a Devil's pillow.

Jump in feet first, Hey there look out down below,
funny how your greeting starts with hell...o?

Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do,
no need to understand when you already know.
