Old Uncle Jack while sampling the fine cooking of his still,
Was knocked out cold by the cast iron skillet of Aunt Jill.
When Jack and Jill went up the hill
Each one had a quarter
Jill came down with fifty cents
I thought they went for water
Jumping Jack flew right back
When he stood upon a tack,
He rubbed cream on
To stop germs from
Annoying poor young Jack.
swirls of starry flakes
icy fingers etch patterns
Jack Frost visited.

Poor Jack ran a futile race
couldn’t keep up the heated pace
lost the battle
someone’s chattel
now he has a Halloween face
Flickering candles.
Dying light, like a refuge.
Embrace the comfort
of nestling Ice cubes in Jack,
And cigarettes with Joni.
No one cared about poor Jack
cut and carved from front to back
his pulp made pie
seeds left to dry
he became a withered wrack
Jack Frost paints portraits
on the winter window panes
.....graffiti artist
for SKAT's "SNOW haiku " contest
Jack went up the hill
With lady Daisy for a thrill
He was injured you see
She got skin in her teeth
Jack got divorced from Jill
Our old friend Jack is back, he’s
ready for an attack, he’s
armored himself with
a large monolith
splotching Carver’s khakis!
Jack and Tom share the same foe
They run from Carver's deathblow
Carver delivers
giblets and slivers
eaten with a fine Bordeaux!
It’s Jack Frost . . .
The land around is snow embossed.
For warmth, spouses
Cling to each other in closed houses.

1. Jill and Jack
Some folks dream of a Jack
Others long for a Jill
Though at times we’re thrown back
God plan’s Love for us still!
In the shifting air
the sweet scent of candy corn
candle wax burning
All doors are open
an ancient mystery lives
I bask in its glow
I neither want nor enjoy the role
Of being a tortured soul
Not sure if I’m doing right or wrong
With no real clue what's going on
There was an albatross Jack Jack
He hung around Patricia's neck
When her husband came
A matter of shame
On her cheeks he began to peck
Jack was oh so lean and lanky
Jill was all for hanky panky
But things went amuck
When Jack's zipper stuck
In a pinch, she found him cranky!
Jill is pretty as a flower
Still she has a super power
Her words can attract Jack
Or really push him back
Her lie detector tall like tower
A bright Jack-O-Lantern lamp
Sits in my autumn hallway
Shows my love of Halloween
While shedding great light
Russell Sivey
Crushed by the weight
Of depression
When it was all I could do
I moved it just enough
To send a smile to you

Jack Frost coughs he feels ill
And kinda off more than a chill
Jack Daniel’s introduced
No longer has the flu
Head spins sloppy drunk with thrill
Footfur Jack
your step is nigh
when by my door
goes paw tonight
I hear you tread
my bed you pass
don’t take my blood
please Footfur Jack
Plane soaring high above
Trail visible in a clear blue sky
Reminiscent of thoughts that appear
Then evaporate from the mind, without trace
He goes by the alias Outback Jack
Telling tales of OZ, he’s got the knack
Little Joe's no punk
He’s an Aussie hunk
Whom I’d love to get in the sack
I noticed today that Ol' Jack
had papers that formed a huge stack
ever one had a lyric, that was slightly satiric
that certainly showed us his knack
