From Complexity to Simplicity

after questioning
I began philosophising
knowing my aim of analysing
a need of interpreting
of clarifying.

Premium Member Interpreting the Heavens
Should the stars you love
so settle to the West to
shine, would you still remain here?

Why would I leave for
the light of distant stars when
I already hold the sun?...

"If a man lays with another man he should be stoned."
We've been interpreting the above biblical verse all wrong.
It's stating a prophecy of how things should truly be,
and if my truth should be told;
Legalize gay marriage and marijuana is what's being foretold....

We are

Storytellers

In our speaking

Conversing

Interpreting..

Seemingly

Making sense of

The indescribable

Spontaneity of this..

Death of the

Storyteller

Frees the story

Telling itself

With a character

Fondly

Known as the

Storyteller......

Premium Member Interpretation of Scripture
When interpreting Scripture
Should be attentive
What Eternal God wanted to reveal
Through the human authors
For our Salvation
Need to see Scripture unified whole
With Father Christ as the center
Must also read Scripture
Within the living tradition of the Church
So that we may come to grasp
A true interpretation of the Scriptures.

I Am Sorry
I'm sorry,
For not listening to the words you said,
Not interpreting the way you meant them,
I'm sorry,
For holding too much,
Not letting go,
Always being there,
I'm sorry,
For not keeping my promises,
For not being the person you wanted me to be,
I'm Sorry,
For not being perfect,
Forever I will be sorry,
I just wish,
You could have forgave me....

Dignity
The gold of time, age, dignifies my rhyme
and sends the sullen apparatus ~ crime
unto its last encounter undermine,
the facts review, not faith, as much as true
are destiny's foul choice, left now to view!

The dignity, prayer's ovum, born anew
is strength from God to love, just to love you,
interpreting my destiny's ensue
fulfilling freedom, with its fond adieu
respect, concern, and thankfulness live through!...

Simple Simon follows rhythm of his breath
In surrender going where it flows
With each exhalation he shifts into space
Pauses there awhile in stillness
Receptive, vibrant but yet unexpectant
Then when breath polarity rotates
Naturally and unforced
He re-enters his form
Going into the heart
Via single eye
Bringing back to his soul
Whispers from the void
Feeling, not interpreting
For thoughts rest

Derision
The stone hero floats across the lawn,
   approaching nonentity with drawn
                    leather briefcase.

Interpreting an after-dinner pause,
   quietly admires a lady's claws
                   and perfect face.

A starving hope can be revealing,
her shattered glance up to the ceiling,
                  her throat in lace.

The power-crystal is just salt
and he can tell it's not her fault
                  she lost the race....

Wait
Too oft interpreting my nerve
can miss the chance to know reserve,
not diabolical but serve
to know a hope in thee, unswerve.

Is constant as the day takes curve
and waits upon but not unnerve.
Is waiting, as the day holds urge
do wait on holding thee in verve!

From thy own restless heart's conserve
holds prayer to open thy observe.
Where fear treads not, and God defers
our struggle in each other's, near ~

To His affirm in Glories cheer!...

Psychic mind, unlike a clairvoyant who often misreads,
Intelligent-- more intuitive kind-- than quantum theory,
Surprising to anyone who underestimates a dreamer
Creatively interpreting life, often an abstract painting,
Emotionally brush-stroked on meaningful soul-fabric,
Sensitively divulging sage-wisdom in tacit vocabulary.

Fear the Night
Lying here,
2:34-
sleepless night.

Totally aware, conscious of any motion stirring the air,
sensing the changes of the clock,
interpreting the noises of the night.

Wondering if sleep will come and
if it will be accompanied by the dreams,
the ones that disturb my slumber.

The ones that disturb my slumber,
making my heart race, my breathing unstable
my chest tight.

The ones that disturb my slumber,
making my eyes tear, my body ache.

The ones making me fear the night....

The Art of Living
Some have a hard time in drawing
From the experience that life has given
Always in need of help whether bold or pastel
In interpreting the art of living

Being a sign of the times in grand design
Trying to hang the picture perfect life
As they're craving their niche or taking brush strokes to it
A happy medium they have yet to find

Not patient enough most just give up
At the opening of their life's museum
With empty frame that bares only a name
In interpreting the art of living...
