Winning Plea
To blow my own trumpet is just not my style
But could you please place me on top of the pile?
My inbox is bulging with NAs galore
I'm begging you, Bobby, don't give me one more!

My Inbox Is Empty
My Inbox is Empty

They’re doin’ this and that
Mixing ‘n mingling
I’m at home
Writing and wishing

I open the mail
Hillary wants me at her party
I say okay
She asks for a buck

If I had a friend
He’d ask how I was doing
And I’d say
Fine....

Still Waiting
BLIND OF THE MISTAKES MADE
I'M HERE LIKE AN INNOCENT CHILD

HURT BY YOUR UNTOLD WORDS
I'M HERE LIKE A HALF DEAD BIRD

CRYING FOR THE WALL YOU BUILT BETWEEN US
I'M HERE LIKE THE POURING CLOUD

STARTING EVERY DAY TO CHECK MY INBOX
I'M HERE LIKE A BORN SUNFLOWER

STARING AT THE PATH OF LOVE
I'M HERE ALWAYS WAITING FOR YOU.......

Millions
Millions of singles waiting to date,
Searching online for their soulmate.
They’re cute and smiling...
They are in a box,
Some look quite normal,
Some cream of the crops.
All different colours;
Such variety,
That one looks handsome and
He’s looking at me.
Wow that one is hot and
You can see him on cam
Back in my inbox and
outta the spam....

Searching for your love
I know you sent it to me
I search the heavens above.

I felt it in the firmament
When it left your heart
I knew it was to me you sent
Because you told me at the start.

I search though the mega-bytes
And through my spam as well
To find your love just sitting there
In my inbox looking swell.

You Click My Heart Wrongly
You click my lonely heart
every night with mouse
but each time you find
no message inbox

Then you make conclusion
that no message inbox
implies I am illiterate
in the computer of love

But you make silly mistakes
You click wrong files
sometimes deleted ones
surely how can you find love?

Let you click in the right files
What you want you will find...

Far Behind
the time was up
your ticket expired
ashes thick
from smokeless fire
distance grew, you try harder
gone the love of my desire

messages come
left unattended
inbox filled with
those you send
deleted now the memory
no good reason to pretend

once in awhile,
you cross my mind
thinking of dreams
left far behind
nothing here, no aftertaste
from those stars that were
aligned...

Philosopher's Stone
My eyes bounds back to me,
When I see, my inbox is empty.

Am I waiting for your words?
Perhaps.

All the words are not sweet,
Yet they may be powerful;
There might be a statement;
There might be a passion.
Or, there might be politics.

I know, all words are not sweet.

Yes,
Sweet are those --
I think, Therefore they are so.

Like a philanthropist I dream;
Like a philosopher I seek....

Spam In My Inbox
Fancy spam emails
I don’t mind nor the ones
cobbled in broken English

from someone who says
he’s with a bank overseas
and is holding money for me

if I will send a small token
to show my good faith.
No, the spam emails

that bother me
are the ones that use
the names of people

I know well, like my daughter.
Those emails I’d like to answer.
We were close before she died.

About Poetry Soup
Why are you always changing
without a map to be found
complicating things
my faith falls down
my comments inbox has up and dissapeared
now I must look through every poem
If your words I wish to hear
Why not just make it prettier,
With bold colors and nice font
Instead you mess with something I've been using
Since I was a child,
Its really frustrating me,
And I wonder if I should stay,
Or like my comments inbox just up and go away....

Festival of Sacrifice
Let we rejoice the
creamy event
tomorrow,
And to say Eid
Mubrak with no
sorrow,

Remember to greet,
tweet and read,
Your inbox full of
bakra Eid,

To shake our hands
with benignity,
To quash the hatreds
of malignity,

This Eid brings the
message of
brotherhood and
humanity,
With divine
blessings and
bestowment of
sodality,

Wish you mirth, wish
you Joys,
Happy Bakra Eid with
highs.

Line, a Strong Woman
When Husband died, she showed great inner strength. Commented" I am planning to make him proud" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note: My comment and her reply disappeared but this is exactly what she commented. Her poem (Potd) last para is very positive. She is indeed an inspiration to me. This is what she wrote (got from my inbox) "Thank you, Rama ~ he's watching me from up there and I'm planning to make him proud ~"

An Inbox
Full stop to the letter

Road which meets you
I was silence in a fog for years and I control the feeling like my eyes is open and you are near me as like clouds gets down to earth
My emotions of love by which I make my self high road by road night by night day by day your love dig a hole into my heart
My ego of to pick a salt of your love for all the pain and joy for which wait for the letter my heart is paining?

With love all
