hills
awake
expose gold
flash burgundy
fall has kissed its trees.

below in
quiet
dale
dawn slips through the silent hills
wind carries the old earth’s breath
sparrows rise like whispered prayers
light gathers wandering hearts
They say the valley conversion. This unveiling hills and plains flowers

Imagination's bluebirds sweetly sing
lilting melodies, bluebells spring
to life, adorn verdant hills
a breeze whispers warm ~ 'gainst winter's will
I
Back home, I walk watering plants
Look to the hills, lifted up by His Hand
Busy painting another make-believe land
The hills, whence Help all evil supplants
Hillsides were ablaze
from sunlight's saffron fingers
Leaves fell like raindrops
from branches of ancient trees
What a stunning Autumn scene
Some hills come alive with a music sound.
Where I live, there are hills all around.
But listen to me. Let me tell you, bud,
The only sound these hills make is "thud".
they were the hills
of silence, sound
and song
when I was
younger
and fighting life
the hills
ahead

Complaining - the price for sure!
The brand of the gas not pure...
TP was Gold then
In line like a hen...
Would love to give his rash cure...

A pampered poodle in Beverley Hills
browses Rodeo Drive for her thrills
Jeweled dog bowls she'll seek
and silk leashes tres chic
Her owner smiles --Just hand me the bills

owl gray,
from a thick foliage
flies out into the sun's glare,
blinks to find its way..
noiseless,
flaps around, upward,
in long, slow spirals, glides down,
blindly flies away!
I once met a girl from Beverly Hills
who sold a potpourri of mind-bending pills.
I bought one and ate it,
and my entire mind got negated.
It was one of my life's most forgettable thrills.
upon blue grass hills
roan stallion grazed among mares
verdant and serene

Barren hills,
And a wild fire burnt heart,
Ignites continuously.
Burnt are his beliefs
From his heart,
Burnt are his faith
From his body,
Ignites continuously
Burning everything.

Run! Head for the hills they said in streams
We ran for our lives amid little ones’ screams
My heart was thumping as if we were in bobsled teams
I woke up down river in my nightmare’s silliest dreams

all is intensely golden
from here to the horizon
sky and earth have become one
bluebirds everywhere
undulating hills await
the lush greenness of the day
in the rich dawn summershine
floating butterflies
on a hill
ah, the duckl'ng hill
thru a kinght's full-night gaze
& the cockrel's voice
came child'ng the hen
on her routine
egg-hatching spree
to poesy's posy hills
challeng'd mrs hen
with all those
eyes -
fully gazing!

There stood a lonely hill
browned and dead, still
the cloudy sky crowned
the lonely hill that frowned
at its own ugly looks
"There's hope"
So sighed it's gentle slope
Alas! The down came the rains
and thus its greens regained.
dawn ignites
the hills are on fire
blazing reds,
orange glow
the clouds roll in, bringing rain,
and put the fire out

Gold at the center
Ringed with black
Standing on silver
Never looking back
Coolest windswept
Hills aloft the sea
Looking toward heaven
Never more to be
Sun scorched and burnt
Now entirely free
Looking at the shadows
Tossed across the sea
Northern Hills
Sublime is the majesty of Northern hills,
River meandering through Valley and Dale.
Limestone pavement lead to wooded ghylls,
Breath held in wonder 'fore satisfying exhale.
