the minute you tore my soul out 
with your meanness

veiny leaflet wisp
transported on a gentle wind
until she met a spider’s web

lacey floaty thing
imagined by a faerie king
caught hard and fast

dried and motionless now
a brown and crumbly thing
which had started out so hopeful

The door slammed behind me and she grabbed me
Pulled me into her kiss

Our lips met and so did our noses

I remember thinking
Under the flash of pain
Behind the sudden wash of tears
Within the gush of blood down my lips and chin

"This is sooo not how it looks in the movies" 

We kissed anyway.

There's a moose a loose with a duck on his back!
If you see them stop dead in your tracks.
Do not engage, for they will fight back.
The moose made a slingshot out of his rack.
If you are naive and turn your back;

Leaving you with a duck stuck in your quack.

I was sitting in a meeting quietly, trying to act serious
When the good friend behind me fiddled with my chair, something furious.
I traveled down hard and fast, completely jarred, as I landed.
Reached behind me and slapped her knee with a crack, overhanded.
The ones who saw were in crazy stitches.
They did not tell, they are not snitches.

i tossed it all up,

all as good as lost,

I know I shaved the hair off this week
The razor was a solid brand
I felt my legs afterwards,
They were smooth as baby

My legs are dark

So maybe it was a week or two
Could possibly might have been

Hair floated down the drain
Grooming is no fun

Confusion has set in
Allowing wild thoughts to bloom
Dominated by chaos
Disorganized mess has surfaced
The world has done this
Stress carries to much weight
The problem has gone rampant
Hurting everyone around
Now the confusion
Must be eliminated
For too much craziness
Has ruined a sane mind
Time to bury the chaos
And create a clean head

A man takes responsibility,
for things he may do.
There is nothing wrong,
with an apology or two.

The soup is a family,
no one needs to leave.
Take notice of your actions,
nobody's beyond reprieve.

Jesus loves us all,
may God be with thee.
Everybody has feelings,
open your eyes and see.

Dancing Scarecrow Woman

Dancing scarecrow woman with a hippity hop
Did a jig that would make a magistrate stop.
The only observers were corn stalks and crows.
She got by with it as far as any of us knows.

Dancing scarecrow woman spun around hard and fast.
She had the kind of form that can dance with a blast.
The October moon shone down and gave her some love.
She danced twice on top of the farmer’s discarded garden glove.
