Sadness

When a strong wind from winters past,
Blew through his memory it cast,
Forlorn feelings of icy blast.
His heart felt frozen hard and fast.
From sturdy stock he was amassed.
Another storm he must out last.

Embers of love, his inner core,
Melted the sadness that he bore.

Send a few of those embers of love my way this winter, will you? You can send them C.O.D! ~ Warm-weather Guy
