Melvin
When it came to your acting career, you were no slacker.
You starred as Sam the butcher and as Sergeant Hacker.
You guest starred on the Andy Griffith Show at least ten times.
On that show you mostly played characters who turned to crime.
It was extremely sad when your life ended.
You were a great actor and you certainly deserve to be commended.

Premium Member Life Was Better Before
Life was better before
   when we were young

When we looked up then
   we saw the sun

No social media news
   to cloud our views

We guys played ball and watched TV
cartoons, Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beav

Of course there were plenty of bad guys and bullies
so we learned to stand our ground, not to look silly

Life was better before
   when we were young

When I look around now
I see the sun going down...

Andy
It was terrible to learn about you dying.
Tonight billions of people are crying.
When I learned about your death, it made me feel bad.
You had a great life but your demise makes me so sad.

You were one of the greatest actors of all time.
Being robbed of your talent feels like a crime.
You were Andy Taylor and Ben Matlock as well.
There's one word that describes you and that word is swell.

Andy Griffith
Ben Matlock is an excellent criminal attorney. He has gone back to find his roots recently. The tracks he was following led him to Mayberry. The sheriff Andy Taylor has stark familiarity. Barney Fife is the name of Andy’s deputy. Andy has a son by the name of Opie. Their lives would not be complete without Aunt Bee. Well, here is a sobering dose of reality: Mr. Griffith has entered another phase of immortality. Andy Griffith (1926-2012)

Pat Hingle
(DEDICATED TO PAT HINGLE WHO DIED JANUARY 3, 2009.)

He was very talented and he had many fans.
He starred as Commissioner Gordon in Batman.
When he guest starred on the Andy Griffith Show, everybody laughed.
He nearly died in 1960 when he fell down an elevator shaft.
He starred in Hang 'Em High and in Sudden Impact.
It was a sad day when he died and that's a fact.
When you get down to it, he was a great guy.
Now many people are sad because they have to say goodbye....

As Sinn Fein
Oh my mighty bones with flesh
Brushed in coincides thought is paint
In despair purely judge ticking clock

Lay to loom as nest to Griffith
Blushed as ballet in frozen waters
Flashed backed and came out as my hero
My land dignity as the peace

Oh my mighty bones disposed
Washed in river to calm ocean
               Sound of Fein mighty mora
Despair with holding golden lit

The keystone cops made us laugh ‘til we cried.
Humor on TV was innocent fun.
Nineteen sixties was a jolly good ride.
Stuff on there today makes me want to run.

Andy Griffith and Fathers Knows Best
Gave us wholesome family time every week
We did not have to know about the rest
All the blood and gore that today we seek.

Let’s go back to the black and white I think.
Where times were innocent and well said.
Where Doris Day dressed up in mink.
And everyone did not hop in bed....
