Andy

It was terrible to learn about you dying.
Tonight billions of people are crying.
When I learned about your death, it made me feel bad.
You had a great life but your demise makes me so sad.

You were one of the greatest actors of all time.
Being robbed of your talent feels like a crime.
You were Andy Taylor and Ben Matlock as well.
There's one word that describes you and that word is swell.

(Dedicated to Andy Griffith who passed away July 3, 2012.)

I had to check this one out because I wrote a dedication poem of my own. I also liked Andy Griffith as the original Pvt. Will Stockdale in "No Time For Sergeants". Good write.
