Si mañana de este mundo me fuera,
no pienses que me marcho derrotado;
pues llevaré conmigo de esta tierra,
tu gran amor...lo mejor que he logrado.
Grab your eggs, vanilla, flour,
Butter melts inside the pan.
Chocolate beats creamy tan.
Heat up for an hour
Become a fan
of Brownies.
Gran-d!
In the wayward breeze
I need walk the golden sands
Of Gran Alacant,
dwell awhile inside your breath
to feel you all around me.

Pandita Es Seniorita Muy Bonita
Pandita es seniorita muy bonita,
Y ella viva en un gran hacienda;
Adore,
More and more;
Con tenía una hermosa sonrisa.

I took the magic pill of life -
My gran and dad were 'live again;
I woke next morning with my wife:
The magic pill dissolved my pain.
For Russell’s Pill of Life contest, 6th February
La sonrisa, la alegria,
Se recuerdan con gran afan
Pero las lagrimas y el sufrimiento
En los ojos del projimo
Que con negligencia humana ignoramos
Algun dia, no se olvidaran jamas...
Led-Foot Grannie
Led-foot Grannie she's on the loose
was going fast she hit a goose
cop couldn't keep up

Gran was driving fast like caboose.

My sister got married in white
Gran commented, “That isn’t right -
You are no virgin bride
That’s YOUR son by your side
You should have kept your legs shut tight!”

Once a Senorita from Sevilla
Took to hiding looks under mantilla
Not unbeknown to her
Sullen senior Senor
Gazed but at her wide open Gran Via.

full of care
the face of gran,
life,lines her beauty
so fair-
this girl
full of care,
this face of love
'cross memory's chasm
I stare,
so sad-
youthfulness
we could not share
apart ...by kin's time-line
divide
ADORABLE!
A li'l infant crawling
A small baby gurgling
A pretty girl dancing
A shy teen romancing
A charming bride blushing
A doting mom gushing
A spry gran sashaying!

Ghastly Grave Gathering
Gran and grandpa are gone
Giving grandchildren gifts
Generations greedy
Guilty, grabbing for gain
Granted gratis gold goods
Girls grovel gracelessly
Gluttonous grandkids grief

The smell of baking bread
A welcome at the door,
That comfortable armchair-
Paintings on the wall,
Gran-kids coming to call,
No ceremony or fuss
Family and us-
Bibles & books abound,
His love to surround,
Loyalty is found
The smell of baking bread
A welcome at the door,
That comfortable armchair-
Paintings on the wall,
Gran-kids coming to call,
No ceremony or fuss
Family and us-
Bibles & books abound,
His love to surround,
Loyalty is found
Little boy runs from
his grandmother up a tree...
Gran sits in chair waits
He needed spank'n
so she waited 'til he came down..
Discipline takes time
Cody's dad told this story about him and his grandmother years ago....
fragrant rambling rose
entwined in honeysuckle
memories of gran
i cut some blossoms
to place on her grey gravestone
tears fall like raindrops

Some ladies enjoy riding on their brooms
All over the house, into all the rooms
Gran rode the ironing board
Only skis she could afford
Off she'd ride, before ironing resumes

Last Christmas Gran sucked her roast beef
Lost dentures were giving her grief
We had Christmas pud
Which should have been good
The ‘Crunch!’ meant I’d found Grandma’s teeth

I glance behind me,
I look left, then right.
No-one must see me.
It wouldn’t be right.
I am a gran,old,
But young.
With lots of pep
And vigour
To have some fun.
I glam up
With make up
And try on
The high heels.
I dance round the house
to see how it feels.
Form:
A woman so gracious, Caring and Kind
Rare Treasure, Lost through time
Heart of Gold, A calming presence
Never complained, never questioned
Now an Angel, Behind Heavens gate
A woman shines bright, a true Great
Love you Gran. Forever in my Heart and Forever Loved.
Beach Boys sounds played as I walked through the door
Gran was smiling as she headed for shore
She shouted out in dismay
As the ironing board gave way
And ended up in a heap on the floor...

Tired Fairy Granny did sit
Upon the sunflower's brown seed.
As dragonfly round her did orbit,
Then from her small hand did feed.
As darkness overtook the sky,
Fairy Gran needs to babysit.
She will have to be rested to fly,
And get there lickety-split.
I went with gran to feed the hungry ducks
they went quackers
pecking at
the chunks
of
bread
I’d thrown
into the
azure water -
I’ll visit again soon my feathered friends!

Gran
has been
so busy
making dinner,
and insists the whole family gathers
together each evening to share our news
She is always
the last one
to sit
down!
