Gran had her say on her granddaughter’s wedding day, in her eyes a virgin wearing white was wrong, she’d have fainted if she’d seen the bride’s thong… Hugs, Beryl xx

Ha ha, Jan. This kinda reminded me of a wedding I went to many many moons ago… everyone was taking up their positions when the bride, with babe in arms, said, “Who’s supposed to hold baby?” I replied, “There isn’t supposed to be one!”… Times were different back then ;-)

lol at this one, Jan. I agree with David's response. Granny certainly would've made her thoughts known to everyone!

Heya Jan, love your Limerick, funny and brutally honest, this is exactly the kind of thing that grans would openly say in the past, probably still do but more under their breath nowadays, I can only see a winner here, brilliant! cheers David

Yes, I agree with you how times have changed, As a child i used to sing in a church choir was amazing how many 'meringue' dresses were worn and a few months later they would hold a christening at the same church lol:-) lol:-) hugs jan xx
