Katmando
I wish to go to Katmando,

live on the beach, own a canoe,

go fishing the whole day long,

no one to tell me I'm wrong,

I hope that my wish does come true....

The Wrong Bait
If I were to go fishing all day,
would you get mad and send me away,
'cause while the fish were biting
my ex was out man-sighting...
I ended up with no place to stay....

I wanted to go fishing in the ocean
Forgot the result of constant motion
You wouldn't believe
How much I heaved
Would give gold for a nausea potion

Lets Go Fishing
Grab your rhodes, your lines, your reels.
Grab your hooks, your swivels, your sinkers.
Grab your power bait, your worms, your stinkers.
Grab your tackle box, your cooler, your beer.
Pick a spot, cast your line, enjoy your friends, and have a good time....

Night Falls
Every weekend,
ready to relax,
I go fishing with a friend
The is barely no catch
But I admire her company
Sharing stories, we sail
Night falls and we return

There’s no one as funny as Atticus
To go fishing he wrote out a syllabus
He outlined his day
Made a magnificent play
Yet caught with his squid more octopus

Then

Sad, down, said
"I go fishing"
They said,"We also go with thee".

On the right side and they caught so many fish that they could not draw them into the

Old Bill had bought a fishing rod
But didn't catch a thing
Then Sam had caught a whopper
On a hook and a piece of string

But Bill say's it's beginners luck
No one is as good as me
So when he cast's his line again
He hooks it on a tree

There is a moral to this story
Don't go fishing...

Donkey rides along the beach
The starfish I could reach.

The fisherman go fishing in the sea
Keeping warm with their flask of tea

The fairground rides looked so grand
The food you eating filled with sand

With the waves crashing on to the rocks
Paddling in the sea with no shoes or socks. ....

Summer
Can't wait until school is finally out,
Go fishing for Bass and Trout

All the birds are in harm,
As soon as I step on the farm

    Me and my 20 gauge,
No longer will they grow in age

    Riding fourwheelers with Jake,
Hope I don't have to pull him out of the lake

A baby boomer, late bloomer, at times a doom and gloom er.
Eats blueberries, says Hail Mary's, believes in leprechauns and fairies.
Works on commission, has good nutrition, too impatient to ever go fishing.
Sings in C, off key but always very happily.
Never a stoic, brave and heroic. Lately feeling mesozoic....

I am a widowed woman of significant age. Not unable to keep house, cook or bathe a child, no dancing for me those days seem over, but, yet - I can paint a picture or go fishing, with the best of them. I am strong yet vincible, not young, but abled. I am a widowed woman of significant age.

I missed a day ago I have to say
Right out of the blue it was gone
Thought I lived it but poof it was gone
Might have taken a trip to go fishing
Or up to the family pond
Or just stayed home and relaxed
Watched some movies and talked to the plants
Still it’s sad. The whole day just disappeared
In her forgotten tears....

Premium Member A Long-Needed Vacation
a long-needed vacation I'll take
or romantic getaway on school brake.
maybe to a casino where I can rake
spin the wheel and a fortune I'll make
or blow and give the dice a shake

maybe I'll go fishing on a lake,
a piece of land with gold I'll stake
with a nesting duck and a drake.

Lullaby For a Windy Night
Blow wind high. Blow wind low
Take us to the land of snow.
Take us where the sun shines bright
In the middle of the night.

Blow us high and blow us low
Blow us where we want to go
Blow us wind. Blow us high
Take us sailing in the sky

We'll go to Venus and to Mars
We'll go fishing for the stars
Blow wind, blow us far away
Then, blow us home in time for day...

Yesterday I thought I would go fishing
Who knew Old man Winter would show up too
I didn't know what I was missing
Out there on that lake, it felt like below zero

I thought I would have some fun
I was cold to the bone and I craved the sun
Next time I need to contact the weatherman
He'd warn me not to go out in tank top and shorts

I love to go fishing,
And I love to date.
I was just wishing,
You would take the bait.

Out on a clear lake,
We were feeling fine.
But my big mistake,
I used an old line.

Was the same line heard,
More than once before.
With her final word,
We don't fish no more.

Now that I look back,
Don't know what to say.
She wouldn't cut me slack,
The one that got away....

Lets Go Fishing
LET’S GO FISHING

We set out early when the air was cool to go fishing.

Deep within the forest at a river tributary lies

a remote stretch of water. A few hours later

our catch is impressive. I turn my back to eat my lunch

and I hear a scream. An alligator has snatched

my friend with its terrible death grip—

there’s nothing I can do but stare in horror

at the scene before me. Will I be next?

I wish I had my hunting rifle…...

Not Justified
Rayland Givens is getting old.
He's still quick on the draw,
but now he's more internally aware,
more thoughtful as he shoots
his Glock 19 into hearts and guts.
He's grown, matured,
i hate that,
in his youth he used to quip
humorous asides as he shot the bad guys.
He had anger, I mean real anger,
and that made him interesting.
Now he's older
and looks like he wants to go fishing
or write a poem or two.
I am almost overwhelmed
with sadness.

I still like his hat....

To My Father
Where did you go?
You left my life dim,
where have you been.
I tryed to keep in touch,
but you never gave me much.
Love is all I needed.
Happiness is all, I wanted.
You brushed me off,
like I was a nobody.
How could you do that,
to someone you used to call "your little girl".
We used to go fishing, hunting and more,
but now your just a bore.
At night I get week,
and cry myself to sleep.
Now you have a new family,
and you push me away.
Why do you treat me this way?...
