Stardust vigil of eager twelve-year-old

Sweeping shadows inspires imagination full tilt.
Memory floats up sixty years later, making her smile....

Death Wreaths
Sleep in your eye's
Crumbles like Pie
Upon fresh sunrise dawing
On garden awning

And it can't protect in all directions
As the Sun moves full circle
When the Dead turn Purple

And come the flower Wreaths wilt
Full tilt into ashes and silt
Waving Farewell

Is the Heart's call

To rage against Hells machinery...

Premium Member Skylight Days
Unsettling rain forgets the sun and stars. Obscurity of hue, gray clouds in style. A ride along, the windshield splash, the haze. I miss the cerulean skylight days! The sudden peek-a-boo, the rainbow seeps. The pallet’s full — the artist’s paint full tilt. Explosive rush like gold poured from a box. The weatherman pulls shiny words from stock. 12/11/2018

I Live In Color
Kick back,
School in full swing,
Full tilt,
Tilting off the chair,
Dye on my fingers, in my hair,
The color love, the color lust,
The color spirit, purple,
The color Obedients turn in the fall,
Lie in the swivel chair,
A computer screen in glow,
Call me a violet,
Growing in metal and cement,
Slacking off,
Looking for Ambition
I’ll start on that tomorrow…
When the sun rises and I turn red....

Premium Member Thanksgiving Scare
serving up a Thanksgiving scare
the sleeping grandfather suddenly
sneaks up and over, like a shadow,
his grandson unaware until boo - the scare
until the son sneaks up and over his father
unaware until a hysterical scare
what a pair!
family doubled over falls to the floor
— let the bodies hit the floor
— let the bodies hit the floor*
the pyramid scheme in full tilt

Premium Member I Pretend
I am full of myself today.
So eager to please my true love.
Others do not know me like I do.

I pretend to keep them close,
Yet I actually keep them far, far apart.
I will never show them my total me.

All full of sass, I hide it.
It is way out beyond my reef.
I know the power of myself full tilt.

So I hide it away, but pretend I am open.
He looks at me and smiles, having no idea
What my sadistic mind is capable of thinking....

Premium Member Sleep Eludes Me
Sleep eludes me
I am in manic mode
Writing Typing Dashing Flying
I will not stop until I hit a wall
And then I will not stop
I will go through it.
Laughing loudly
Clearly not full tilt yet
But knowing it is coming

Meds are here somewhere
I do not think they will kick in anyway
They take awhile
I am running dashing, twirling, spinning.
Not some of me. All of me.
Eating wrong.
Getting angry fast.
Covering my sad.
Sleep eludes me....

Haunted Guilt
You haunted me like never before
my heart used to soar
but now my heart is broken since I heard you roar

When I walk past you I feel so much guilt
and you've haunted me that I'm at full tilt
It'll take for ever to get my life rebuilt

I feel like I need to say some thing
cause your haunting action makes me feel like I'm in a sling
I also fear that your gonna make me pay and call you "my king"

Please stop haunting me
for you see
that you're taking out all of my glee...

Premium Member A Tough Little Bird
A little old lady named Judy,
Works hard to accomplish her duties.
She cooks and she cleans,
Runs errands, makes things,
For friends and for family outings.

Sometimes her arthritis flares up.
She can barely pick up a cup;
But she's no cry baby,
She's one tough old lady.
A hot bath and a pill and she's up.

She'll finish the job 'fore she'll stop.
She loves life and she lives it a lot.
She'll keep going full tilt,
Until she gets kilt,
Or she runs out of gas and just drops....

That Kind of Love
Love is not one-quarter note
It's a violin concerto set on fire
Played to a table for two
It’s not half-assed
Or half-baked
It’s the 3 inches thick
finger licking frosting
with a cherry on top of my cake
It's full tilt
Take a chance
Raw
Messy
Hard
Bend over backwards
Give it all you’ve got
Show me the damn cards
Risk layin' um down
Win or lose
Dare to feel alive
Put your heart in gear and drive
sort of love…
Yeah, that kind
