Haunted Guilt

You haunted me like never before
my heart used to soar
but now my heart is broken since I heard you roar

When I walk past you I feel so much guilt
and you've haunted me that I'm at full tilt
It'll take for ever to get my life rebuilt

I feel like I need to say some thing
cause your haunting action makes me feel like I'm in a sling
I also fear that your gonna make me pay and call you "my king"

Please stop haunting me
for you see
that you're taking out all of my glee

A very endearing poem, Emily. Well done.
