A Tough Little Bird

My knees are killing me today and thought I'd write this.

Just having a little fun. (smiles)

A little old lady named Judy, Works hard to accomplish her duties. She cooks and she cleans, Runs errands, makes things, For friends and for family outings. Sometimes her arthritis flares up. She can barely pick up a cup; But she's no cry baby, She's one tough old lady. A hot bath and a pill and she's up. She'll finish the job 'fore she'll stop. She loves life and she lives it a lot. She'll keep going full tilt, Until she gets kilt, Or she runs out of gas and just drops.

When the going truly gets tough, And knees and hips hurt too much. Take a tip from me, Feet up and coffee, Makes the pain and strain less gruff. Belle

Good one. There are many of those ladies out there who work to accomplish what needs to be done for their families despite their pain be it emotional, physical or mental. Good that you wrote this one for us to enjoy while you suffered through your pain. Have you tried Aspercreme with Lidocaine? Sara

I feel this way with my weird conditions too, Judy. All we can do is keep going. Sorry you were out of commission when Daver passed away . That was a sad day for me, for he was such a wonderful friend of ours here. fun limerick too!

I think many here think I am sort of wishy washy about the site since I am on and off now and then but sometimes my health causes me to have to lay low. However you can't keep a good man or woman down. So I enjoy it while I can. God Bless my friend. JB
