Lost his mind, it went blank

Frank Loves German Beer

Frank loves German beer so much
Everyone knows it's his vice
Now they call him Frank in stein
I don't think that's very nice!

I once knew a penguin named Frank.
Who had a big problem. He drank.
He got a full snout.
His wife threw him out.
And now he's asleep in “the tank.”

Frank was outspoken, direct.
His assumptions were not always correct.
His sentences, brief,
Causing some people grief.
His opinions were hard to accept.

Mary and Frank

Mary Godwin -- soon to be Shelley --
Writing with Percy, Byron and Polidori
To create the scariest horror story,
Gave life to a monster of immortal glory.

Premium Member Let Me Be Frank

I bailed my honest friend out of the tank
Who dressed up as a hotdog for a prank
It’s not a misdemeanor
To dress up as a wiener
I see no harm in trying to be frank

Thunder Rolling In

We ignored
that sound before, thunder
approaching, and paid a heavy price.
Never again! Empty
rhetoric?

What Would Frank Say

I went on a blind date to wine and dine
heads turned because she looked so damn divine,
but while I sat to partake
she gave me a lap-dance shake...
the lady is a tramp at table nine!

Frank N Stein 2

Frank N. Stein began to whine,
No one ever asked him out to dine,
Dracula said, " You can come with me,
I know where some good neck might be,"
But Frank thought he should decline.

Frank N Stein

Frank N. Stein began to whine,
He'd been accused of awful crime,

Setting off metal detectors with his head,

Premium Member Anne Otto Frank

A wonderful young girl, Anne Otto Frank,
Was forced to live confined, like fish in a tank.
She could have been saved, if about her people knew....

But nobody cared, she was just another Jew.

Frank Is Frank

Thank you for your comment. That was the fastest response I've ever seen- just
finished it, and you were right there. You should know that your words have
helped more than you can realize. Best regards, tom

Anne Frank

What did they do to u?
Forced you to hide
From fear of Gestapo.
From fear of murder.

Now germans look
at Amerika and spit.

I have something to say to
Germany.
At least America didn't melt
its own people
into ash yet.

Under Surveillance

Agents against 'Woke'
ban, monitor
revise, exclude
like
'Natives' intruded
like
ships didn't deliver slaves
like
Anne Frank didn’t journal
like
separate was equal
like
history was meant to be revised
like
they want to see it.

Premium Member To Be Perfectly Frank

To be perfectly frank, girls in shorts turn my crank My old motor starts roaring with a squeak and a clank My eyes start whirling My head starts swirling At my age, drooling's frowned on to be perfectly frank © Jack Ellison 2015

Perfectly Frank

Let the daughters
     of Isis
do their witchcraft
   We will stand on the
surface of the water
 Like small boats
We are golden and many
  They are few
Let us not be concerned about
     diving into streams of memory
To be perfectly frank
It matters little

Premium Member Frank--- Friend and Spiritual Teacher

A holy man in a hospital bed
Preciously wrapped,
Like a mystic infant
Radiant, beautifully sculpted
against white sheets.

You're dying you say.
Your voice a lamp,
Another lesson strung
on a rosary of sacred moons,
to be held in prayer,
while darkness swaddles you.
