laundry lines
wooden clothespins
white sheets
flapping...
ghosts of my
imagination...
like Halloween
this year
disappeared
obvious flapping
struggling for a few seconds
flowing with wind now
following a cloud
astonished forest watches
eagle disappear
Wise a soul becomes when starts flapping the wings God provided it with!

Pretty butterfly
Fluttering its tiny wings
Floating in the air
Flapping and swaying
Pretty butterfly dances
In the gentle breeze
VACILLATION
Vacillation:
Flapping wings of
Hope
That never leave the
Ground of fear!

jellyfish floating
in turbulent sea currents
beware tentacles
sting ray flapping by
vast oceans you do cross
in your endless quest
Storm is abrewing
Building up fiery hot air
Dragon in disguise
Flapping its green veiny wings
Making geese fly home backwards
We paused in the shade
Of the cool, green, cedar tree
Ties flapping in wind
Satchels hung like saddlebags
We raced home like wild horses
I wondered
I wanted
I could not find
I fell victim to a blindness
rare, falling out of the sky
like a sparrow
flapping on the lawn.
Free denizen of the sky,
The songbird is now in cage,
Flapping its tired wings in vain.
Yet the caged bird sings!
There once was a woman from Calfeder
Who had lips as hard as leather
When kissing the boys
She expresses her joys
By flapping them widly together
Form:
Feathered wings flapping
as eagles fly in the sky
soaring with freedom

An Albino butterfly in the sky
Its beauty is plain, Gliding across the breeze
Wings flapping, Reaching higher with ease
Captured beauty, In its symmetry
dress in the wind
flapping across wildly…

flapping grasshopper
moves like a helicopter
quickly up and down
Rain drops fall softy
each splashing drop forms circles
which join into puddles
Ducks splash with great glee
flapping wings causing droplets
that reflect rainbows
And here we have Baby J on the drums,
Goat had big teeth and was flapping his gums.
Can I join too?
I asked the Big Gazoo.
I took out my comb and started to hum.
always the same song
incessantly his gums flapped..
cotton in the ears
hungary buzzards on
a still morning look the same
flapping their wings
yes i agree, Frank...
what is my crime,
i'm doing time,
locked away from the light,
its so unfair, the birds out there,
are in flapping floating flight,
Don
boughs sway in high breeze
flapping dance on the tree top
leaves' rustle music
His New Sweetness
You're so honey
Sweet Bee
Fly with me
To your flower
Wings be flapping
Hyperactivity
In budding unison

I miss those thrilling butterflies flapping wings against my chest,
but they've joined my setting heart on its journey to the west.
For Susan's single rhyming couplet contest
fluttering
floating
flying
landing
O' look at the beautiful colors floating
As the butterfly lowers flapping his wings landing
