A pot roasted rabbit
cooked with boletus fungi
Winter chantrelles
Japanes knotweed
Apple juice

the charcoal-colored cat
creeps upon it's prey
pouncing at the last possible minute
before the garter snake
slithers in tall grass

with a big fat lobster on a leash
it was so blazing hot
didnt need for a pot
just butter for a fabulous feast
brewing for so long
over the fire in heaven's hearth
becoming noticed
by its inviting aroma

the abandoned house was full of mice
I brought in my snake, Mr. Nice
he made sandwiches of each little beast
I watched him gulp down his squeaky feast

Let's all be seated
The table was filled of grace.
Feast of love was served.
No poor nor richest
In the blessings we had reached.
From God the Highest.
Feast on them fully
those mangoes so rotten
that make your teeth yellow
Climb high and remain there
those dwarf mango trees
You are sure are unreachable
The Thanksgiving feast went wrong
When the family stayed to long
It broke out into a brawl
Food was all over poor Saul
Who was trying to find his red thong
The table was beautifully set
When the family walks in upset
Knocks the turkey on the floor
Food thrown against the door
Now their living with lots of regret
Pears wrapped in soft bread slices
Thyme flavoured chicken
Chopped sugary warm pine nuts
Apples in a rich sauce
Berries in chocolate
Sweet smell wafts
Wow!
