Karen, This is a very clever poem. So, the cat snd the snake are after the same prey. Somehow, the snake knows he's no match for the cat to seize the rodent. I love that we don't know why (and we don't need to know why) the cat wins the prey! Good poem for it'smystery wuality. Carol Louise
