The Expresstrain
With a loud hoot it alerted, with resounding clangs it boomed
The people were informed, that it had arrived

To the city it headed, when all at the station boarded

Railway journeys

Lost are travel times,
Dressed in best for the wedding,
Took an express train,
Landed up with soot on clothes,

A Journey North
A Journey North

Trees are everywhere.
Gardens, wet grass, dew,
Weeds to pull, how I hate plants.
I am seated on an express train,
I see a group of East Indians in the rows seats laughing.

I can’t comprehend the Russian language.
Or why anybody would want to take themselves to church on a Sunday?...
