The Ancient Deception

Injured Soul
Fainted Eyes

Returning
from where?

Weary feet
Weak arms

Treading
toward where?

Struggled
in vain battles

Fighting
delusive enemies

Erred by
a deception

The ancient deception

PARDONING HELL
(Red Monday Justified)
It’s one thing forgiving those who have erred.
Criminal and criminals a free herd:-
it's another to grant then clemency;
Their injustice stampeding you and me:
Hell, what a term this is going to be:-

Epitaph For the Dysfunctional --- Life of John Doe

Here lie the Limericks of John Doe, duly interred
For the poet wrote "The dysfunctional $@& life.." and erred
Using innuendo
Totally intendo
Behold! Promptly the Admin's righteous wrath was incurred!

The Limericks I agree were crude
Not at all meant for the prude
The title had this warning
But by the very next morning
The Admin had them promptly removed!

The Artist

I took a tiny touch of red
Then I dabbed a bit of blue.
  Voila! I had purple
Now I wondered what to do.

  The empty piece of canvas
  Was waiting for a scene.
I shall start to build a forest
  With shades of deepest green.

Ooops! I erred and made a splat.
  It's a mark I can't take back.
  I've changed my mind completely
  This paintings now abstract.

Premium Member Pearly Gates

Don't know if I'll see those pearly gates
I've lived in sin thus sealed my fate
forgiveness came redeemed my soul
rejoiced to heaven tried not to fold
but I erred and fell and did backslide

my soul kept running. no place to hide
I kept the faith returned to the Word
stayed the course with help from the Lord
I lived in sin, at last I'm free
I can see those pearly gates ahead of me

Premium Member Aura Reading

The mystic reached out to feel the pilgrim’s aura with zeal; erred since his reference point, touch divine did not anoint. Void centric awareness still, exercises not it’s will, simply releasing intent, soul seeking from God consent. How we look at other forms manifests in us thought storms. Thus ego is our fault line, unless with love, we align. 03-August-2022

Mirror of Truth

.

I've walked down paths
I thought would lead
to my own liberation,

only to find out
I was heading
towards an illusion.

It didn't matter much
with so much time
in my youthful hand.

Today, it seems my
chosen paths wind back
to where I now stand.

I don't regret having
often erred in choosing
which way to go,

for every error
is a mirror of truth
for me to know!

.

For the Love of Money

For the love of money
Is the root of all evil: so they say.
But many will continue, on their greedy way.
Which while some coveted after,
They have erred from the faith,
And pierced themselves though with
SORROWS.
Which I guarantee you, will be there tomorrow.
They never listen my dear to hear, what Jesus has said.
And this is why through lust and greed they walk among the dead.

Amen'

Premium Member Hmmm

Alright, someone erred
Stole a moment of glory
Occupied centre stage
Through means unethical
To which most took umbrage

This is a time for reflection
Do we hesitate to forgive
Instead condemning the soul
Who momentarily went astray
Is not love and light our goal

Let us mindfully gentle touch
In each and every situation
As we leap forward to embrace
Assisting those who faltered
Leaving of past wounds no trace

It Ain'T Easy Being Married

We haven’t got much money
We drive an older car
We still call each other “Honey”
We still make each other laugh (he’s funny!)
We fought small battles, but never a war
We tried and erred
We always shared
It was easy --- we cared
What’s best about our marriage
Is not hard to put in words
We simply listen to each other’s thoughts
We’re each other’s better half
We’re what “together” really means
We are a team
Hey! It’s easy being married!

Curiosity

The invisible
throws a visible image
without a tether.
Do you see the god ?

Was a matter of faith ?
You tie a thread on the wall. Longing
finally reaches climax. Gravity
defies a flying dream.

You had erred, yet
failed to accept the guilt.
A scariest moment was,
when you entered the morph.

It was a U-turn. Robots
will dictate the polity. You
alight on a rostrum; like
a lovely pink swallow.

Premium Member Have You Fallen From Grace

Have You Fallen From Grace By: Tom Wright 5/26/99 Within your love let me once more abide. Your face from me, Dear Lord, please don't hide. For since the time I erred and fell from Grace. I have not Lord, until now, sought your face. Those things in life that wrongfully I have done. I'll lay at your feet Lord, one by one. Then when at last you've let me have my say I pray you'll place my feet once more on your straight and narrow way.

The Best of Me

The Best of Me

I am nowhere near perfection

i have flaws from my foot up

i have erred a million times i think

and never did i regret a thing

i know i am a sinner

just like any other people

but for me to accept it

better yet flaunt it,..

a definite no-no

what is best about me

is the love in my heart

an overwhelming,

unconditional love

the best of me

may not be a saint

a simple human being

with much love to offer..
Form: Verse

Sorry

Should have said
something different
    Acted differntly
But I erred
Too late to take it back
  Tooo late to change
my tone of voice
  But really - I did
feel unease about what I said
Sorry that I said that to you
  You didn't deserve it
Yet in time
   The wounds shall heal
Life will return to our
  friendship
If you didn't know that
    Well, now you do
A sweet harmony is about
to wrap itself around us
Giving hope
   tying the bonds to ether
