The first crescent moon
Following the setting sun
With Saturn above
In the clear December sky
I send a wish to a star
Ripples like nipples,
Washed away by the oceans,
No time left to miss them,
Saturated by sentiment,
Now drying fast.
Sunset pictoric panel
Tones and shadows stimulate;
Senses, inspire poems
dusk
is pressing
as the mist
rolls in
with the growl
of thunder
and the eyes
of Jupiter

The dusk unfolds his blanket
And lays it upon the skies,
Silence rests on every man and beast
And echoes in the skies.
dusk dribbles dewdrops
flower petals atrophied...
evening primrose blooms

warm sunshine breaking
through gloomy overcast skies
a new day dawning
written July 14, 2021
sun slips behind clouds
transparent tangerine glow
a sailor's delight
written August 26, 2021
a single breeze slips by~
a warm hush of late day
carrying light the way
memory drifts~
quiet, unhurried.
crescent moon dwindling
I will never own blue sky
valued with their sake

small lake off highway
gold captured by stippled waters
reflections dancing
sun’s silent westward passage
into a river of dreams
God made you,
Adam with water brush,
At dusk
Then, he made
This world of
Watercolors with
Just the
Barest of brushstrokes
Dusk
settles
once again
mind ready for
rest -
the
soul too
seeks zen to
renew self each
day
Lilac hush of dusk
Melancholy lullabies
Isolated rain
Wind ripples, mellifluous
Unruly rivers slumber

A whispered breath falls,
Soft as twilight’s quiet glow,
Parting shadows stretch—
Silent echoes softly drift,
A gentle, fading goodbye.
He was in each and every page of her life.... The irony was ,he was the dawn during the commencement but turned out to be the dusk in the end.....

New dawn lights the heavens
Dusk destroys the day
Sunlight gathers dreamers
Darkness makes them pay
Half moon hovers over Mt. Rainer
as a not yet setting sun
begins to pull the shades
Ravens gather in their ready
daily journey winged too roost....
Dusk falls light fading
in the half light lives mystery
secrets of the dark
Secrets of the dark
what lurks in deepest night time?
scarey shadows loom

interlunar spiders weave
dew-strung galaxies
strobing moth surrenders~
dusk feasts on silver regrets
Drowsy vista glow,
dwindling radiant golden.
Daylight’s recall lost.
dawn comes
roads hum
work calls
I bawl
time flies
I rise
I sigh
say bye
long day
dull gray
work done
I’m home
dusk here
I cheer
Georgia peach dusk
beyond blue and cloudy skies
a bodacious kiss
won with a Southern accent
a drawl that draws one's eyes up
