A False Bottom
The darker side of morning,
  the drier side of rain

A memory left forgetting
  —a spirit uncontained

Apart
throbbing head
raw heart
how it feels
when we're apart.

held back tears
drier eyes
lost remarks
deep inside

sick and weepy
no remark
I can't go back
I can't even start

how it feels
when we're apart....

Premium Member Death of Summer
I noticed a smell of soft decay autumnal moment arrived. Last rose on dying bush, dandelion clock waiting to be blown. Grey clouds the sun slipped away- nature is silent, drier time of year. Wood smoke rises from chimney Summer no more.

Kälte Kommt Zurück / Cold Is Returning
Kälte kommt zurück
Vögel fliehen ins Trockene
Stechender Regen fällt

Vorn Ferne Sonnenschimmer
Auf nassen spiegelnden Straßen

Cold is returning
Birds flee to a drier place
Stinging rain falls

From far shimmering sunlight
On wet and shiny streets...

Music For Damp Weather
MUSIC FOR DAMP WEATHER

The outlook is for less cloud -
Long damp vista : quiet street
Hiss of tyres, occasional slap of feet.
As discrete notes catch
A melody snatch,
Uncertain wet dark shapes summon
Perspectives long gone.
Now replaced with a clear
Brighter drier path less drear ....

Premium Member If This Isn'T Love
This feeling...
  feet fairly skipping
knees a bit wobbly
  the lump in the throat

Heart pounding away
  lips drier than crackers
arms cloaked with gooseflesh
  head spinning like a gyroscope

If this isn't love, it is quite the distraction ~
~ Believe me, I'm feeling sheer stupefaction...

Last Supper
in this restaurant
I’ve never been
your hands are drier than mine
in your eyes the streets get lost forever
in mine they still have life

the brighter your face is
mother
the sadder is mine

like when you told me not to lose hope
because you'll be able to fly someday

calm
like a bird
caught in the shot of the gun...

Poems For Fun - Shame Or Fame
Nobody ask anybody
which one is much more deserted
and much drier,

A deserted and dry
			island
			desert
			heart,
I'm certain
the answer by a great number of people
will be the same
if some cannot guess it at all
they don't need to think
that is a big shame,
on the contrary,
it will bring them
a great fame :)...

Seed of Love
My little jewel of honour
Wrapped in the soil of my heart
Sown by my beloved
Infinitesimal it was
With time grown a tree
The plump fruit ripened
But now it seems a dream
A leaf drops after another
Soon the branches empty
My beloved nourishing halted
The farther she goes
The drier the tree
And to nought my little seed of honour...

Super Stack
Poem about Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

There's a sky that's high
where the chimney's higher.
Where the smoke blooms grey
and the winds are drier.

There's a chimney round
with it's white strobe lights,
calling out to planes
through the days and nights.

With a rim in white
and a stack of grey
In the North we say...
It's our home to stay!...

A New Car Is In Serious Trouble
A new car is in serious trouble,
Its worried owner worrying his stubble
A helpless heart is on fire
No longer sure The Devil is A liar!

Unmistakable tears of a crier,
At a still far off market, a buyer
And through accursed routes A Trier.

New dreamy wishes of a road drier,
Upset by his left front tire,
Already in a manacling mire…

Some tomorrow a flying car or car-flyer...

Passion Coffee
As breasts float eyes on coffee grospt
there's men who'll know amusement's drospt
And tell them that they're needed when
there's women meant for drier bien

And let them know there's hope for men
when all that coffee's drank and then
To hold then for a woman wild
when meeting them means face and smiled

To tell them that they're all that world
where greatness,
gresh
and men are purl'ed...

My Friend
Be
my friend
it will endure
when fireworks have
drained lustre from my eyes
and wisps of cobweb grey
adorn my thoughts by day.

Be
my friend
it will sustain
when flames have
burned my dreams to ashes
and the dust of arid tears
grows drier by the years.

Be
my friend
it will prevail
when I know your heart
as you have known my flesh
and you will need my comfort too
as much as I need you...

Cucumber Pie
Are cucumbers cool
As a general rule?
How fresh is a daisy?
Are loons always crazy?

How snug is a bug
When he’s not in a rug?
How gentle are lambs
If not happy as clams?

How clever’s a fox
That’s as dumb as an ox?
How fit is a fiddle
Not clean as a whistle?

Are doornails most dead,
Or are dodos instead?
Is it drier than toast
To say “deaf as a post”?

Such puzzles befuddle and much mystify
Till suddenly you see they’re as easy as pie!...

Trump Forever Will Fume
Trump Forever Will Fume

In room in Mira Lago Trump will fume,
And he is an idiot  who likes to bloom;
In each place,
A basket case;
Each day deeper does appear his doom.
