My Friend

Be my friend it will endure when fireworks have drained lustre from my eyes and wisps of cobweb grey adorn my thoughts by day. Be my friend it will sustain when flames have burned my dreams to ashes and the dust of arid tears grows drier by the years. Be my friend it will prevail when I know your heart as you have known my flesh and you will need my comfort too as much as I need you
