Life Lessons - Part 3

It isn't easy to enact the character of life.
People have to disintegrate,
To cluster scattered relationships.

Death's Tune

10-21-12

--------------------

Rotted corpses play
As dead trees disintegrate
Lost in their own fog
A song that I long to hear
Is lost in the obscure fear

           splashing out some bling
           as raindrops disintegrate
             on hummingbird wing

My Life

My life is a colorful scene
Full of thorns and stones
As a tenant, i dwell in this tent
Waiting for this body to disintegrate
Waiting for this hut to fall in frailty
Upon the earth
Whereon shall my soul stand before The Man.

This girl next to me
Likes writing concrete poems
(I am wasting time).

Reds turn slowly blue
Leaves disintegrate to snow
Fall turns to winter.

Success

In the furnace

You call success

Flames consume desire

And inject a loneliness

Into embers

Which lie dying

Slowly

Upon ashes that

Disintegrate

Washing grey dust

Amongst the coals

That once

Lit the fire.

Icons Disintegrate

Icons disintegrate and views
Long looked upon, now
draw their blinds tight
Against warm air's tattered breath
Whose crumbling words and sighs are stuffed between folded pages
Where shots ring out and
At the corner rounded
misadventures end

Levels of the Sea

Thunder much like a Greek God
It resonates through my ears,
It causes me to bear a grin
Deep sapphire lies out like the land,
Wreaking of aged salt
The crescents of impure white disintegrate,
When adjusting to the actual level,
The level of the sea.

This Constructed Concurrency

This constructed concurrency
Was forced by his magical hands
To draw a line through a point
Where it wasn’t meant to pass
A new concept brings us full circle
And the lines disintegrate
Within my feeble grip
This game of geometry proves
That I am asymmetrical

Black Ink

it starts,
a trail of nothing
but tar.

to my left,
it infects
tab,
shift,
control.

to my right,
disintegrate.

spreading its malice
home,
delete,
pause.

blocking my hindsight
and stopping me
from doing nothing
backspace,
return,

escape.
it ends.

Broken Homes

Broken homes,
Broken places.
Can’t escape,
No empty spaces.
Standing on the edge.
Contemplating goodbye.
In a home in the city,
I see her cry.
If home is where the heart is,
Then why do so many say goodbye?
Cause broken homes and broken places,
Disintegrate to empty spaces.

In the Finale

In the finale, at the right time,
      all hunger will not exist,
      all thirst will be extinguished...
      All possessions,
      will disintegrate... !
      Only love will remain
      as a gift, in the
      heart of the one who
well received it and donated... !

Wayward Skin

Incinerate all vacant lust
Fishtailing the mind
In an ****** of energy

Finite thought turbulent
Expressions broken from their jaw
Antsy minds recoil in pain

Our mutant lives disintegrate
Against a streaming bed of action
Bombarded by the sun

We wake resilient
Floating from this wayward skin

Time…
Wilts away

Memories…
Fading moments of a better yesterday

Life…
Constrict in place for your freedom

Society…
Deterioration of its innocence

Leaders…
Decay the ability to make a difference

Friendship…
Shriveled from the distance

Earth…
Wasting away

My soul…
Disintegrate

Prism

Drumming along to the ancient song
Painting images
On the throng of something great
Trying not to negate
The all too familiar feeling of destiny, of fate
Picking flower petals apart
Piecing them together in a tapestry of art
Watching a rainbow appear in the sky
Watching myself disintegrate into the prism .

My Feet Are Bare Again

My feet are bare again
Like they were when I started
Life feels so different when you’re on your toes
It’s not even cold when your sun heats my sand
Until the water creeps up and washes my fabled city away
You were the king of this castle
Til I kicked it away with my foot
Don’t you see how easy it is to disintegrate?

We float for years - drift and disintegrate.
But we don’t give rise to flowers.
We pollute; as our morality incinerates,
We float and die - drift and disintegrate.
From ourselves we seek to liberate -
Clasp our hands on bent knees we cower.
We float only to fall - drift and disintegrate.
And we don’t give rise to flowers.

Premium Member Ripples In Time

Ripples in time .

Echoes ride the pinnacles of undulating ripples
- across that something, that once was so clear –
across the reflective, mirrored surface of time.

As they travel towards the abstruse shores of reality,
they begin to disintegrate, fade into the mysterious depths
of what will surly become, what creates the here and now.

When twin souls peak in godly intercourse,
love's neither then so deadly nor so baneful!
Invite another in like a Trojan horse,
and the experience truly might be painful.

If torrid lovers can't forgive or forbear,
then carnal knowledge dies in hate and vice,
as heav'n and hell disintegrate in warfare,
and wanton lovers flee from wrath like mice.

Life - a River

Pebbles squabble while dropping down the hill with the fountain
The fountain giggles on seeing the fight of the pebbles
Both would transform soon – One would unite to form a river;
The other would continue to disintegrate itself
The river never looks back, floating – images of life

Rapture

This star filled night; our passion sparks loves delight…
I pull you close in, as our lips begin a ballet beneath the glowing moonlight…
I love taking you within, disregarding the sin;
others feel for their envy blurs the light…
Now hold my hand, while we vibrate with the rhythm of the grand…
Love union we create, mends soul hearts that disintegrate…
As they live their story and plight…

Giving Back

I am good
but I would disintegrate everything
around me
so that from the terrestrial globe
only a speck would remain

I am intellectual
but I would gather in a trash bag
all the useless words
my poems created

I was born marked
but in a high flag
I will hang all the world banners
till only one remains

I know I loaned my body
paying interests
and daily devaluation
but quietly
I give it back
