Broken Homes

Broken homes,
Broken places.
Can’t escape,
No empty spaces.
Standing on the edge.
Contemplating goodbye.
In a home in the city,
I see her cry.
If home is where the heart is,
Then why do so many say goodbye?
Cause broken homes and broken places,
Disintegrate to empty spaces.
