Lovers deeply in love
Love grew and changed
Living life to fullest
Old age deepened love

Pale of muddy algae
Crawl out along loopholed weeds -
In tangles of puffed cotton
And spiders' webs spread out
Caught 'midst lamb's fiber
As it wanders by meadow trails

the image deepened
Speaking without words,
the conversation spiked
Touching without holding on,
all feelings turned to ecstasy
Loving while letting go,

Now sliding in peace the hues of day
Maybe this I fully know

as the Condemnation of Chaos
rather than believing in the heat
of its pure, creative essences.
If there are fires to be spread,
may we be scorched with Love.
