Jaded Love

Jaded love, deepened wound weeps
    Theater dark, actors vanish
        No encore no ovation
            Flowers lay dying...

Thought of the day

ensouling form shaped from earth’s crust
the entity fuelled fires of lust
day by day deepened delusion
lost in dungeons of deeds unjust

Still Waters

Tides across another stone

Deepened
Like
water

A symbol of home

Fish
Or
Quarrel

Do I rest
Within the habitat of thyown.

Solitary Upbringing

At the cost of my very own happiness
I was kept safe from the darkness.
But the way I was solitarily raised
Only deepened how I felt grazed.

The Skylark Chirps

the skylark chirps

  of amorous refrains

    mellow as night…

 a winged hymn echoing

tales of my deepened woes

The Enemy Within 2k12

Yea - therein belies mine enemy, such sot; Countless battles - tho' not the war lost. A moth seeking light - a man's deepened thought. Unlike beer - hearts weren't meant to lie in frost.

Perfumed Bouquets

A deepened breath
Her heartfelt words
My stirring spirit
Sweet beautiful girls
You whisper gently
So shy you seem
Beyound our eyes
This love I dream..
To hold you close
Your beauty's light
Kiss soft your lips
And make you mine.

Beneath the Grass

The solemn air of deepened peace
Peace beneath grass where you had lain,
Lain along angels' sacred field
Field upon which dreams were embalmed.

Weeds

In a deepened streaks of quick darkness,
Pale of muddy algae
Crawl out along loopholed weeds -
In tangles of puffed cotton
And spiders' webs spread out
Caught 'midst lamb's fiber
As it wanders by meadow trails

The Afternoon

They pressed together
mouth to cheek

under the slow rain
as the mud deepened

and the frame of their
shelter melted away.

They stood under
spots of roofing

when the wind
brushed cold water

droplets from their
pink faces.

November Dreams

Autumn’s shivered eyes
closing over brittle tears;
deepened breath as winter calls.
Late November dreams
of summer’s fevered essence;
life bloomed green in lush bouquet.

Caterpillars Delight

Looking beyond our differences,
  the image deepened

Speaking without words,
  the conversation spiked

Touching without holding on,
  all feelings turned to ecstasy

Loving while letting go,
 —the caterpillars delight

Caterpillar's Delight

Looking beyond our differences,
the transformation deepened

Speaking without words,
the conversation spiked

Touching without holding on,
all feelings turned to ecstasy

Loving while letting go
—the caterpillars delight

Peace of Day

Now sliding in peace the hues of day
Maybe this I fully know
Above the groves, the lonely plains
Of deepened soot and down to where
The busy metro huffs below--
Again I feel the minty dawn
Swell inside my breath till all
Of chilly mist is softly drawn.

Skeleton Tree

skeletal remains
ancestral tree of life
portrait of ruin

valley of dry bones
branches broken and scattered
generations lost

Breath of life returned
deepened roots of faith grown strong
Epitaph of hope

Smiling At Death

One by one we saw close ones die
But ours was not to question why
We sank each time but rose again
Holding strong and quelling hearts sigh

Bound to form and attachment chain
Suffering deepened sense of pain
It was all delusion of course
For in each life, must fall some rain

Unable To Fly

When I met you
I was like a wounded bird
You healed my wounds
with tender kisses
You strengthened my heart
by giving it love to nurish it
You fed me promises
eagerly I swallowed them
And just when I was able
to fly again
You battered my heart
Deepened my wounds
And then
You clipped my wings

Redefine the Fires

I fear Hatred has deepened
the thickets surrounding us,
erecting thorns where there
should be blooms.

I fear that we have defined fire
as the Condemnation of Chaos
rather than believing in the heat
of its pure, creative essences.

If there are fires to be spread,
may we be scorched with Love.

One Tear Rolled

One Tear rolled From curved corner Of sadden eye Light reflected grief From well-darkened iris Heavy lashes cast shadows 'Pon gloomy deepened pondering Pupil that opens window of soul Pain, agony, bleeding, crushed, marred, hurt heart

Plucking Time

Falling…falling autumnal leaves twirled and coiled on pale of deepened trees; night’s solstice graces wise age pondering on youth’s flames... gentle breeze, be kind when moons request for last hours throbbing wild!

Rugged Maps

Topography- embrace its meaning
Open roadways- visually gleaning

State boundaries- further we'd proceed
Connect-the-dots- we'd follow their lead

Deepened creases- a wider landscape
Artful tearing- revived with clear tape

Thumbprint dirt stained- unplanned souvenirs
Revisited- discovered frontiers
