The eye is said to be the window to the soul..

One Tear Rolled

One
Tear rolled
From curved corner
Of sadden eye
Light reflected grief
From well-darkened iris
Heavy lashes cast shadows
'Pon gloomy deepened pondering
Pupil that opens window of soul
Pain, agony,bleeding, crushed, marred, hurt heart
