Devon's Joshua Reynolds
master artist from days of old
Friend of the great& good for a while
principal advocate of the 'Great Style'
We cuddled there in days of old,
but now our bench is alone and cold.
For Andrea’s Frozen in Crystaline contest, inspired by Picture Number Two
In days of old and grey sky
Everything was darker nigh
And the clouds always float high
Rains put gloom and sigh
Russell Sivey
Venice,her beauty to behold
Colourful edifices from days of old
Charming waterways,traffic free
Bithplace of revered Vivaldi-
A pastel painted memory.
The days of old, hold
A promise for the grey world
Not wanting heartache
Must relive the past
Having decisions to make
Don’t want pain again
Russell Sivey
When God made the beasts, in days of old
It seems He lacked quality control
That surely would veto
The cursed mosquito
And preclude all that itching untold
Taxis used poop power in days of old
Street cleaners had to mop up the road
A stinky job oh yes
Really quite a mess
Hope they were paid by the stinky load
Hot and Cold of Year
Even when there were days of old,
Still was a winter with much cold;
When we would run helter skelter,
Seemed cold and we would swelter.

Taxis used to poop in the days of old
Street cleaners would have to mop up the road
A stinky job oh yes
Whatta a mess I guess
Hope they were paid by the stinky load

we remember from afar
all the Christmas days of old
and as the years repeat and fly
we remember Christ, the star
re-post inspired by Nocola contest
Venice,her beauty to behold
Colourful edifices from days of old
Charming waterways,traffic free
Bithplace of revered Vivaldi-
A pastel painted memory.
I miss every bit of my childhood;
memories in a sepulchre
buried too deep to exhume
with my rusty shovel.
should I keep digging
or let those fond
days of old
simply
be?
Mainz Matthias Grunewalde
engineer & artist of days of old
His painting distorted scale
but created a religious tale*

pivotal moments
held with corners in old books
captured forever
photo treasures
go back in the days of old
memories unfold
family albums
ousted by technology
no more photos - sad
remember...

The story goes, so I’ve been told
Tales handed down from days of old
That when we die our soul migrates
And we’re transformed to other states
If that’s the case, when I’m reborn
I want to be a Unicorn

Form:
a view upon a an ancient soul,
a searching still from days of old,
words do flow as he does mold,
the past grows dimmer here,
serenity bend his ear,
the path to take unfolds...

GATE
Glimpse beyond time that grandeur bold,
Attest to chimes that now unfold;
Time echoes rhymes that grace inspires,
Exult in mimes from days of old.

Miracles Happen every day
Not just in the Bible days of old
A little faith in the God of all
Can make the impossible unfold
You can't explain a miracle
The way it happens at least
But a Designer can change the design
That is the nature of the beast.
green all of the time
glad wonderful world we have
as in days of old
no pollution here
like when Go first made the earth
was so safe and sound
easy to endure
seven wonders they all were
nothing more to say

How I still long for those days of old
When I was young and free
When my heart was sweet and pure as gold
How I still long for those days of old
Now days are tough and the fires are cold
Gloom has covered me
How I long for those days of old
When I was young and free
I change.... but in death
a bay leaf falls and dies-
My regret ... follows you to the grave
upon the fresh earth the asphotel lily lies-
In country lore of days of old
flowers ...a symbolic story told
Leprechaun leaping is against the law, but it was okay in days of old
When a leprechaun could increase his life saving, by leaping his gold.
The magic that went into this effort is a secret unknown by most.
My cousin secretly does it, but we are not allowed to mention this or boast.
FEELINGS UNTOLD
Right from the days of old
I've always treated u like rose ??
Thoughts of you fill me in the cold ??
I'm shy ?? and you don't have to be told
I wish I'm brave and so bold ??
But here I'm still with my feelings untold
Of how much I value you than gold.
(FM CONCEPTUAL ???)
Man and woman we are.
Right from days of old,
Coalesced by the bond
Of an unending friendship
Yet, as time flew by
Curves, attitude, beauty
Plant in my head a different notion
A switch in emotion
'Bless me with your heart's love"
Was my speech.
And while glaring at me
You ended the unending.
