By Us Had Been Construed
By Us Had Been Construed

By us already had ben construed,
Were really trying to find a feud,
Failed to find,
In my mind;
Ended up being lost in interlude.

EYES

Eyes
Awake
To the world
What if no sight?
Just an inner world
No colors    no blue sky
No sweet    beautiful women
It could be construed a blessing
Opinions  alone    on four senses
Coloring everything    with music...

Hollowness Of Nirvana
An opening's gap
Construed as silver lining's
Lack— not wings; just blue stupor—
Clouds spinning circles.
Still crowns kings; a wisp of rain
Falls in brief— in heaven's clasp.

Why must light always be strewn of,
Shortened like tearing tears?...

Premium Member Flirting With What
Welcome death, why.
Ones who don't, ones who try.

Life is precious, who says..
Liars of happiness, ones who dread..

Construed intentions.
Dangerous Liaisons.

Daggered Heart.
Bled its part.

Cruel words, condone.
Sticks and stones.

Dare to perceive.
To intrigue.

Not to blame.
Or be shamed....

Solidified
Solidified

Wanting of a heart, passion in eyes,
Our love that blossomed at first sight,
Every melody that I got at a price,
If only he could have construed me right,
the wandering soul would have been solidified !

Who Cares
Who Cares

Write what you feel like
Writing about and who cares
What it all may mean.

Laid back attitude
All of this could be construed
So why fight a feud?

To me, when you combine
together Robert Frost,
Ogden Nash and Will Rogers
you have a successful way
of coming up with your
own poetry.

Define Death Please
"What is death to a man
But to have his life ended?"

Please.
Don't be so lackadaisical.
Death to a man
Is the man's paradise.
Where the pain that construed
him
Nurtured him
And taught him how to live
In a lifeless realm,
Is ripped from his soul.
So that even through
inexistence
-The downright lack of mind and
self-
Is cause to live....

flocked sternly, the construed resent
is oft the wandering mind's consent!

To view the atrophy's invent
is vague and apprehension's sent
my heart awakening, so alert
looks forward, while all knees are bent ~

with prayers of useless saming's vent
looks forward . . . loving's implement!...

Ill At Ease Or Unfurled
Is your pathway to Heaven now structured,
  with words that your verse seeks to pray

Is your stairway straight up or diverted,
  remittance and debts to repay

Is your meaning construed or verbatim,
  intention set free of this world

Is your love what was given or taken
 —your heart ill at ease or unfurled

Fortress
you climbed the fortress
up trellises of vine
to capture her heart
to hold for all time

the tower a bastion
protected, secured
without hesitation
your vision unobscured

your mission was gallant
the plan was construed
knowing not resistance
from a love that was true

as you scale the tower
you know in your heart
a happy ending was coming
you knew from the start...

Viewing Viewpoints
some say he's just confident,
   you say, no, he's very arrogant,
others say he's opinionated,
   you say simply hard-headed;

for some, he's open-minded,
   for you,  plainly uncommitted,
for others, he's truly tolerant,
   for you, he's heretic, ignorant,

some say he's a freedom-fighter,
   you call him terrorist murderer,
these matters of point of view,
   viewed and construed by you!...

Premium Member Regret
Regret is like a hot coal in the right hand,
And shuffled quickly to the left, then back again
With fervored reproach giving harsh reprimand
In a heart broken world that no words can soften.

Thus stomach's cruel acids give rise to great pain,
While the brain's daily thoughts are construed in a blur.
Soon friendship is lost when regret makes its gain.
Kick far the hot coal. Let not regret reoccur....

Premium Member What Is Your Hypocrisy
Little old man, lived in the front pew,
                           Praying his beads and singing his hymns with virtue
                     While at home, he gossiped and construed about everyone
          Brazen he’d go down to the saloon and have a few and argue about his view

As You See It
Some say you're very arrogant,
 to you, no, you're just confident;
  others say you're hard-headed,
   you say, no, simply opinionated.

For some, you're so uncommitted,
 for you, no, merely open-minded;
  to others, you're plainly ignorant,
   to you, no, just being tolerant.

They call you a terrorist and murderer,
 but you say you are a freedom-fighter;
  these differences in points of view
   viewed, construed by them and you!...

Ghost
Ghost

I saw a dream at night
I can't claim, whether I was alive
Because, if it would be, in bush lying
Pedestrian would think, what about ghost?

In symmetry junction at night
I had to cross, with left died
In one hand, there was fear in mind
On the other hand, deceased of beloved

Ahead in the dark, step of shadow
Compelled to me, would it be ghost!
Imagination of fear, is self construed fork
Mind accepts, if it would be post....

The Crooked Finger Points
With your hands held up limply;
As if consumed by a fear;
You claim your provisions;
So few can come near
      But I hear only echoes;
      Designed and construed.
      Like as growth from a hot house;
      Not flower or food.
But this meat and potatoes;
With butter and bread
And these rhyme’s Betty Crocker;
Will it stay in your head?
    This venue you’re serving’
     Lacks an herb or a spice;
     And until you are sorry;
     You only suffice....

Sentence
Awaiting, like the stillness breath of fate ~
complying with my solitude's bereave,
I chanced your heart, and then did look in grief
at all the risks construed, the moment's thief.

And it were always, someone else, some kind
some ignorance of path, some meriting refined,
it were . . . not us, not using, not defined
but in my sentence, in my dreaming's line.

Premium Member Your Beauty Construed
Cascading
like sparkling stream you dance
with rapt ripples rolling on your smile.

Radiant
dawn flushed by crimson sun,
paints luster of grandeur on your face.

Indigo
night spreads satin stardust,
your doe-eyes glow with flash of ardor.

Glimmering
candle flame in the wind,
your beauty, my heart holds lest it wanes.

Miss Construed
The misconception towards being gay-

Has aquamarine tentacles than testicles

Where the opaque antagonist will one day;

Leave tissue paper flowers in the vestibules

Enchanted guests stroking infatuation for each other-

They are like the wax of a dying candle

Whose liquid deluge has gained solidarity

Trying to avoid the imminent scandal,

Her gourmet jelly beans bring some clarity

Enhanced tests, enabling a direction for each other-...

In Green Skies
Pelting.

Stones among magnolia clouds
eating the day through holes
in a wish for the paper grey moths.

Hail and unencumbered beauty.

Dents in hoods and broken glass
in crackling spider web patterns
construed as nature's designs.

Melting.

Rain of grey sulking atmospheres
who feather their wings
around unwilling souls.

Sleep and the brooding sunset.

Puddles of iridescent oils
kissing yellow rubber galoshes
in an effort to make peace....

Cold Hearted Snake
      A cold hearted snake you are to me.
      Your golden promises are pitiful and so phoney.

      You construed my feelings from my intentions.
      My deep rooted hatred intensifies my conviction.

      Playing your trump, you are the swindler of hearts.
      You won't deceive me now, like you did from the start.

      You are a cold hearted snake and always will be.
      I will blot you out of mind and heart oh, so blithely!...

Spring Cleaning
I've been skipping the sidewalks
of my latter poems,

inhaling jasmine
with open lungs-
but sneering at imagery flaws
with a certain hostility
bullies claim
cursing at fallen language,
snubbing punctuation

then suddenly, quite unexpectedly
it bloomed in me,
perfection will always be over there
just ten spaces away
from pen's reach

So I succumb to humility
and adore the cracks
my heart so carefully construed
with her bare hands

yes, falws and all...
