Annoying Dentist

I have a pain in my tooth.
But the dentist is somewhat aloof.
“The clinic is dirty,
don’t come ‘til two thirty”.
It already is, that’s the truth!

The Clinic

The Clinic
 A faint echo
Of a scream
He had been
Absorbed by
The routine
Of the hospital
White coated
Doctors
 Nurses in white
Uniforms
And cleaners in blue

Premium Member Goodbye Strangers

as the three boys leave the medical clinic
they begin hollering “good bye!” to those still waiting
They are probably four, five and six.
I am the only person who yells back

Premium Member Writing as I Wait

I have been in this medical clinic way too long
Forty-eight and a half minutes
Long enough to write sixteen poems
So as you may have guessed
Most of them
are not
really
great

I Smile and Frown When

I smile when-
Woman has strange men over
You laugh and mind business
Married to your ******* neighbor

I frown when-
Man wants medicine for kid,
Clinic shut down,
Alcohol delivered a government payout

Premium Member A Mayo Clinic

A much-neglected condiment is mayonnaise
for its smooth, creamy flavor, I give it 'all A's'

It perks up a sandwich more than ketchup and mustard
and even on desserts, it can outduel custard

Premium Member Train Strike

Down at the station where the trains are meant to run
A fellow shoved his tickets up the station master's bum
The station master called the docs and said he was in pain
The clinic said no doctors here... They all come in by train.

Limerick : Once a wife Nurse and husband Doctor

Once a wife Nurse and husband Doctor
Loved the meat served from Clinic larder
So they went in to see
Found morgue bodies for free
Since then stopped buying meat from butcher.

A Beggar's Work

A beggar must have a gimmick
And one that others can't mimic
To open the purse of a cynic
Yet keep him out of a clinic

A beggar sits there scheming
Though you may think he's dreaming
And that may leave you steaming
But it leaves the rich guys screaming!

Pandemic

Its a pandemic
Spreads quick
Looks like it may stick

Its horrific
Many are sick
Our elders are weak

Its hectic
Makes our doctors freak
Seems to be bleak

Its drastic
Causes panic
Things are getting dramatic

Its frantic
So please stay hygienic
If anything visit the clinic.

Peripeteia

I had fancied that
I was a testing expert.
But suddenly, one fine morning,
I was told to take a battery of tests—in a clinic,
Not just once but from to time
And for ever after.
Now I know that I am a testee after all
And far more anxious
Than any of my testees!

Mosquito

Mosquito is a poorly-trained doctor
all examinations he failed
no internship he did
he carries needles in his mouth
injects clients to become patients
and treats patients to become tombs
his clinic is in the bush
referral hospital
in people’s houses
pharmaceutical factory
in stagnant pools

Chaperoning

The clinic feels like Alcatraz.
There’s no escape in this love.
I feel a growing sense of alarm
when you don’t return that night.
The doctor decides to sound calm
& I’m coerced into negotiating a settlement.

AN ARTIST'S ODYSSEY

An amateur with art in her veins,
A portrait and palette to design dreams and pains.

Serendipitous ideas flood the gates,
An obsession mushrooms as fate curates.

Rekindling old fondness,
Crafting nuance with skillfulness.

From canvas to clinic, the journey unfolds,
Exploring dermal maps with a finesse untold.

Failing Upwards

Back in the day
he used to do any job for good pay.
That was before the abortion clinic.
Then he knew
there was some s..t he would not do.
He got picky,
though getting himself fired was his
most masterly skill.
Occasionally
he would make a little shady money,
however any work was cleaner
then bundling up dead baby parts.

Branches

Gold the young moon
above an Andalusian grove.
Love vines bind us
as we share the same wine.

In a sterile Spanish clinic
her cat-scan is read in a dead language.

I keep looking at the stark image,
hoping to see Olive and Date Palms
not these smoldering shadows,
branching through her being,
as if she were a vineyard
on fire.

Capital Territory

Where the most influential persons live
Where the most dangerous goons gather
Where dictomacy where federal agencies
Where evil officers where harmful Psycho clinics
Where false propaganda where Elite Mafia
Where snatching Policy where guided missiles
That place is known as capital territory..
Note. Underworld is the hub of aliens.

Traded It All In

I see you at the methadone clinic,
in it to win it
you got a long life ahead
but only ten minutes to live it
I know it seemed like you had a lot more at the begining
but u went and traded it in for a heroin addiction
scabs lace the skin,
your face deminished and thinning
you dropped the ball again
and you ain't even finished the first inning

Lunatic Act

The criteria for involuntary hospitalization are as follows: patients must exhibit dangerous behavior toward themselves or others, they must be helpless and unable to provide for their basic daily needs, and there is a danger of “essential harm” to their mental health if they do not receive mental care..
Note.wehmi, nafsiati, Pagal, nashai, game, over..

Sunday Cur Man

Down's Syndrome is such a big scare
Because it happens everywhere
So clinics should close
Since everyone knows
The greedy need more than their share*

*90% of the cases at one clinic are
attributed to Down's Syndrome but
the GOP won't fund research - nor
prevention - as all the GOP needs
is "approved" voters who vote
the party line

Suddenly Sick No Money

He does not words utter
Nor heard syllables mutter
But a heartbeat is aflutter
With his sighting a shutter
Of a clinic answering “What’s the Matter”.
That would life save but funds scatter
His honest last savings shatter…

On his head a hammer’s clatter
Of a fever seeking to him batter;
A just consumed bread and butter
Vomited in excited gutter.

Premium Member Prayer

Everyone pray for our son-in-law, Doris' husband.
They have just taken him to the hospital.
We don't know what the diagnosis is right now.
He was sick all night with an upset stomach
His son took him to the clinic north of town this morning.
He passed out on them, and they said they thought they was seeing blood.
We should know more soon.
