A Beggar's Work

A beggar must have a gimmick
And one that others can't mimic
To open the purse of a cynic
Yet keep him out of a clinic

A beggar sits there scheming
Though you may think he's dreaming
And that may leave you steaming
But it leaves the rich guys screaming!

The Bible actually says, "A man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry," NOT, "to feel Mary and have Joy" as popularly quoted!
