Tangled seaweed shore
sharp in salt and sweet decay
Crab claws still clenched shut
in defense of losing prey
Sun, to bleach, is on it's way...
Eyes clenched in delight
Ecstatic shudder in spine
Climax without end
Feel the throb of bliss within
Ceaseless purring ignition

“So this is what it feels like to fly . . .”
was the last thought
that went through the snake’s head
just before the eagle
clenched its talons around it.
eyes clenched tight
bliss spasms peak
stillness speaks
world within
beauteous
rapturous
words we speak
mere symbols
be the light

Tricube
The yellow rose thorns
Clenched tightly between the hands
Prickling the fingers
Causing to fall sanguine drops
As deluding dream crumbles

Picture me
Standing with my arms
Folded
Locked out from the world
Waiting with my teeth
Clenched
Locked out from the world
Yet if you had the key
I would gladly open up
Form:
I once knew a poet named Carl
Who found himself in a troubling snarl
A victim of vicious rumors you see
The result of deep rooted envy
Gave him clenched teeth and knuckles all gnarled
Love drenched,
Thirst quenched,
Heart clenched.
Desire sated,
Pain abated,
Feel elated.
Tearful fears,
Yearning sears,
Love endears.

Love On The Riverbed
He pitched a tent on her banks
Her teeth clenched as pegs dug deep
Campfire sparks, heat's erecting
The winds howling in lost flight

Life changes,
seeing the lights end
we run faster
past each closing door
ticket in our clenched fist
burning lungs
screaming silent
prayers
shedding ,
spilling,
dropping,
letting
go.
we are afraid of vulnerability of innocence
so we set up an impregnable fortress
an opaque mind and clenched fist
but if we wish to see God face to face
we need to vaporise becoming a bliss mist
A fistfull of sand
clenched
tightly
too tightly
to her breast.
Trickle grains sift
through slender fingers
~ beautiful hands
clutching
that which could not
be
contained.
Howling under moonlight
Clenched jowls and sharpened fangs
Swarm fated ill-fortune,
Effortlessly gliding
In perfected patterns
Adapting with each dash
Until red runs on green grass

i took that step forward
my eyes closed
and fist clenched
you leaned in
and our lips touched
no fireworks
no butterfly's
no cliches
there was just me and you
and a million feelings i cant put into words
Ogden Nash begets the Nasher
Humored couplets somewhat brasher
Seems these rhymes are wrenched in nature
Clenched, this nomenclature impure
Odd end Ogden, gnashing nashers,
Hence the wincing grimace assures
soma nectar drips through our veins
elixir that cleanses soul’s stains
strangely yet we choose to resist
heart is closed and clenched is our fist
instead of love we nurture hate
why then blame fickleness of fate
Listen to poem:
what lies within
that chin
beneath quivering lips
that belies the lie
within the tongue
tied by bounds
of clenched teeth
holding within
the lies squirming
in a swarm of spit
lying to be cast in
a phlegm amen
More afraid and fearless
than I have ever been
precariously perched
upon the cusp of a dream
faith and swollen heart
clenched in either hand
with an eye on the tide
building castles in the sand.

He bought his wife fake Chanel Number Five
It smelled like a skunk - no longer alive!
Just one whiff and he knew
Eau de ‘Pepe la Pew’
From clenched fists he would have to duck and dive!

Captain America
Captain America you are hero
From grounds to skies
Can save any child and adult
From the clenched hands of evil doers
You are pride of America and the world
From skies to further skies
We love you from hearts
His plaintive cry pierced the air
pleading to travel somewhere
Sympathizers marched in a faraway square
their fists clenched in slogans
As he bled to death slowly
~ in the presence of no one
Oh
Great owl
Rarely seen
I can see you
Talons clenched and sad eyes stare down at me
Perched high upon that naked old fired tree
your prairie once
Ever green
Great owl
Seen
Ashamed that human spark will never flee
